mag 254

I am taking the plunge and getting a mag254 probably tomorrow. Do I need anything besides my TV, internet and hdmi cable to set it up and for it to work. I've read and read about androids, emulators, wifi etc. etc which is greek to me. Do I need any of those things to get me up and running?

Should be alright, just hook it up and refer to the guide to set it up.

The android boxes need an emulator to make it do what the mag does, no need to worry since you're getting the real thing

best thing you did is to get a mag 254 and check out the avov one too
