Mag 254 Ir extension

Looking for some help.
Trying to hide the mag 254 but find a way to to still have the remote working.
I bought this thinking that's what the rc port is for on the back.

Is there a way to Make the Ir emitter extension to work or do I have to go a different route?

Anything that lights up the kids are after

RC port is on the front, get something that has a stick-on ir transmitter and then you should be able to hide the box.

Ya I ordered an Ir transmitter off Amazon. It did not work apparently these can be different frequencies. I want to order off the infomir.us site Ir extender but the shipping is sky high. Anyone know where I can get one in the GTA? Or order online
