Hello everyone ! My box has a blue light and it goes into recovery screen just wanted to ask someone to give me link to where i can get stock fw so i can unbrick my box . Thanks in advance .

That would be great, I have one with the same problem. Found a piece of software that was supposed to fix, but just make problem seem fixed for a while and caused more problems. An exact android replacement source would be great.

If you use Ethernet cable to connect and dont need Wifi, here is a link to Firmware I Installed yesterday.
Brings the M8s back to Android 4.4.2 and seems to function in all areas except the wifi chipset "for my unit" is different than the Code.

Zip file includes a zip file and 2 other files
Unzip the 2 files + the zip file (but dont unzip this file) onto a blank SD card.
Remove power.
Insert SD Card.
Insert pin into A/V port (reset switch inside) - press and hold.
Plug in power and keep holding until you see the Logo disappear or about 10-15 sec after power up.
Let it do its thing.
I lost wifi though, but dont need it.

**** UPDATE *****
Unit worked great for 1 day.
Now Hangs at startup on a "Logo" -> TVUnlocked
Attempted to ReFlash and the startup procedure is no longer recognized ???

Hi kens, now is the right time to upgrade your box to Android 5.1. Go to China Gadgets site, select firmware, type M8S in the search. Select page 3 and look for firmware August 1st 2016. Read the reviews and play special attention to the post by mat he has all the files you need to download and get the box up to 5.1
