The 1st diecast winner selection:

2012 Tony Stewart #14 Mobil 1 Galaxy (Lionel Action)

It appears to be not all that rare, but I wanted something that would remind me to change my oil from time to time, especially when it "smokes." lol. Kevin Harvick would have been my second choice.

I am pretty sure that on a few of them #20 cars, he has 'Smoke' written as his driver name just above driver's window.

That #14 Mobile Oil car is pretty sweet

I beleive that the diecast hobby has come down to one main manufacture now (well since a couple years) and that is Lionel Action cars.
I will check on that but pretty sure is how it is now. They will all have open window boxes.
So any new authentic nascar diecast car after just a year or two ago will be a Lionel Action car only.

I think them wires were for insurance that the hood never flew off during the race ... free willy type style.
I seen them on other diecast models round that same year. There were a few years they had them, but not any more i don't think.

from what I gather it's for taking/scanning a pic to register your car and make a virtual garage
I will try it out as soon as I decide I'm sticking with linux or going back to windows
