do you need to use the mx player with the amazon stick? what happens when you click on a movie? only a black screen ? any error message?

download the mx player... dont have a amazon stick but you have the emulator loaded right? get the mx player and set it to external player and use the mx player

you definitely want to run an external player. using the internal player causes issues due to program parameters. by running an external player,it lightens up the data load on the stb emulator. adding more channels puts more load on the emulator. so its beneficial to try to offload some of that to a supporting program.

I agree, i started a thread in the fire tv xda section and everyone is expirencing better playback with MX as their external player. Internal and VLC plugin crash a lot.

I'm running FireTV by the way and can take some of the load lol.

Use XMTV works better then MX. MX is not loading live tv channels. XMTV is. Currently testing MX vs XMTV and so far XMTV is loading tv channels that MX fails.

Looks like the BEST team is running tiers from most of the providers, and getting it adjusted to open em all. Great job team the ones you are testing have all been really good on my end.
