EPG for US and UK Channels

Hey all, so here is my version of EPG with all US and UK channels coming from Schedule Direct.
Automatic update every day at 6pm CST.

In order to get the new EPG XML source using stalker client you just need to go to System->Add-ons->Stalker Client->Configure->Portal X(the one that you are using; usually the first one)

3 things to ensure:

Guide->Preference->XMLTV Only

XMLTV->Scope->Remote URL

XMLTV->Remote URL->

The setup seems straightforward but neither I nor several of my friends can get the guide to load. What could I be missing? Any help will be appreciated here as I had no problem with viper's guide. Thanks

Nope ... No go for me either ... Cleared cache and guide info ... Restarted Kodi ... all my preferences seem correct as indicated above ...Still no go .... If anyone fiqures this one out please post your resolve. Thanks ...

Since a few people seemed to be having trouble loading your guide I thought I would give it a try. If I load it in a browser it does seem to take a very long time to load, but it loaded up fine for me in my Simple Client PVR.

Great job on your guide, it's nice and full!

When it did finally load in a browser I noticed a few channels that need to be tweaked in your ren file:

It might be an issue with downloading. If it takes too long, Kodi times out the activity. I would leave it set-up and if everything is configured correctly, I bet it will fill-out in the very near future.

It is working fine in my PVR Stalker client.

If you're talking to me chief, I only wanted to have a look at it. It loaded up just fine in KODI, browser was what took a while.

Thanks for the quick response ilan. After several attempts at clearing data bases(channel and guide - even had an iptv reset in between) and restarting Kodi, the guide finally loaded. I think my problem was related to the fact that I had not at any stage done a restart of Kodi. A Kodi restart is essential and those having similar problems should note this. Also the entire process might need to be repeated a couple of times.

As I mentioned in another thread, there could be some server, bandwidth or simulateous download issues, but I have no way to determine that. For those not getting it to load yet, leave it configured and bide some time. I suspect the guide will eventually populate. You can try data clears and restarts, but it might just be the luck of the draw that dictates success.

Acid, just curious - what lineup do you use for the UK channels? I pull mine from BSkyB but the BT Sport channels are not listed.

BTW, yours is not loading for me either now (times out) although it worked fine a few days ago. It looks like server overload.


Edit: Duh, asking the question made me look again. I was pulling from BSkyB England instead of BSkyB UK.
