What version of KODI are you using?
The tutorial is using Kodi 17.
Here is a tutorial for Playlist Loader, an alternative to xstream-codes, that can play m3u files or remote links:
It's a little dated, as the latest version of Playlist Loader is 1.1.4+, but the steps to get it are still valid. Instead of xbmc-repos, click on kodi-repos. Use the link you get from your donation/rocket/route checkerCode:https://tutorial-iptv-xbmc.blogspot.com/2015/03/playlist-loader-add-on-for-kodi.html
see this if you don't know how to get your m3u Playlist link:

Sorry for having to ask but username and password are my rocket number, correct?
I am attempting to install superrepo but the xtream codes iptv will not install. I'm using KODI 17 on a pc, Everything except vod works when I'm using 17 & stalker client, any help would be appreciated.
Kodi 17 is a no go will not let me configure addon
Lets Go !
Still not working for me on 16.1. I reset my donation, deleted the xtream codes iptv addon, reinstalled and still getting the "xtream-codes iptv error" message at the bottom of my screen.
Am I missing something? Am I supposed to reset or remove the MAC address from my donation?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
this installs right (I am attempting to install superrepo)
Superrepo is acting up. I used KodiIsrael to get the xstream-codes addon.
