TV Guide (EPG) for US, UK, Canada and Latin American channels

I lose my guide data about every other day at 4:30 i try to clear guide data several times but my guide doesnt come back for about 3 hours i have tried both epgs with same result i have cache data set at 48 hours and update interval set at 720 minutes do i have something else set incorrectly maybe ? I am on eastern standard us time zone

try to leave those setting with the default values

I set those settings to default and it is now 4:30 pm eastern time and i have no guide again i cleared cache data and restarted kodi a couple times with no luck i usually get data back around 8pm. Worked great last couple days . Any other suggestions thanks

do you have kodi's latest version?
where is your kodi installed?

I am on kodi 16.2 installed on amazon fire tv.

shouldnt be a problem with that version, are you sure the time n timezone is correct on the fireTV?
I had a proble with a kodi some days ago, the guide wouldnt load.... the problem was it has some build installed, I installed kodi clean and everything worked perfect.

Great work on the guide PACh!!! However, in the past week or so I am seeing a few "holes/blanks" in the guide due to changes in the database (TV29.db).
The following channels are now HD and need to have changes made in the setup files (.ren .chl) to account for these changes:

Fox Business HD
CNBC US HD
MSNBC HD
Comedy Central HD
HGTV East HD
History HD
Syfy HD
Disney Channel East HD
Disney Jr HD
Nickelodeon East HD
CBS New York HD
ABC New York HD
NBC New York HD
FOX New York HD


I tested this out by taking the guide that you produced and editing it for the HD changes (example below for MSNBC HD) :

<display-name>356 MSNBC HD</display-name>

After making this change and reloading the edited guide data file, the guide populated this channel with the appropriate content.

Test this out for yourself and you will confirm that this works.

its funny I couldn't find those New York channels in my guide Im using DirectTV NewYork, maybe they are using other provider? Would be nice to know which providers they are using so we can adjust the guide better and have more channels in the guide, If somebody could get that information I would really appreciate it.
