AVOV TVOnline+ firmware 1.0.8 and it wont update manually or auto?

I just purchased a brand new avov tv online+ it has the 1.0.8 firmware and everytime i go into settings/sys info/sys updates... it does nothing. It will factory reset if i proceed to press that button. I've tried copying & pasting a few different update.zip files from people who has the zip file to do it manually and when i go that route the box does reconize and asks if i want to upgrade the firmware,but when i do it always says " NOT A VALID INSTALLATION PACKAGE!" I'm having the issue of the credentials process not going thru in order to get my iptv service up and running. (iks66.tv) My mac address is registered,my service is up and running,but i cant get past the credentials part and was told that updating my firmware should fix my problem,but i cant update it. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi 4strter have you tried contacting AVOV support? I would email them they should be able to give you direction on this issue.

Thought firmware 1.0.8 for that box is the latest one...if I'm not mistaken

I thought it was also,but i've read on here that many people have done a manual update via usb port to a higher version 1.0.12

You are not having any problems with your TV Online +as far as updates goes. 1.0.8 is the latest firmware version for the Online +. If there is a 1.0.12 version for the Online + I've not heard about it, and that poses the question as to why these people you talk of had to do a "manual" update via a USB devise? Where did they download 1.0.12 from to put it on a stick to load on to the Online +?

Your wrong ................1.0.8 is the latest.........................................The re is sometimes an installer update...to fix a bug like VOD or something....they come automatically....sometimes you can trigger the installer update by going to the Market and clicking All a few times......or reboot your box...................but thats it
