My Mag 254 does not turn on

Hello,
So today i went to my box to go watch some tv, but it would not turn on. It had no light on the box so i unplugged it from the back. The blue light came on. I pressed power on the remote many times, but it still showed, "no signal, check if your cable is connected.." Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance.

If you can get into the setup then try doing a software update even if you have the latest software on it.
