How to get ********** with PVR IPTV Simple Client and IPTV Stalker v10+ (New)

    NO LONGER SUPPORTED

    ---
This is how to use ********** on the PVR IPTV Simple Client, using IPTV Stalker as an m3u server. This may be useful for those who can't use PVR Stalker or PVR Stalker NFPS.

    Prerequisites:

    1. Installed and working IPTV Staker Papiao. You must be already able to get channels though this add-on
    2. Installed EPG Updater Service for Stalker, from **********. You should install from the available repo on **********/clairvoyance
    3. Disable all currently running PVR clients
    4. Enable PVR IPTV Simple Client. For best results, select Defaults and click OK
    5. On the TV settings in Kodi, disable TV and Clear Data.

    Configuration

    1. IPTV Stalker Papiao (10.0+)

In settings, go to the M3U Server tab, to the right of the Parental tab.
      Click on "Enable".
You should see "Port" with 8899
Ensure server is started by clicking Start.

    2. Stalker EPG Updater Service (1.0.16+)

From the Add-ons browser in Kodi, locate "Stalker Updater Service" in Services, and click to access the information page.
      Click Configure
      Enable "Configure Simple IPTV"
In EPG Download Path, leave as "special://temp"
You can fill in other fields but they will not affect this configuration. Click OK

    3. PVR IPTV Simple Client

From the Add-ons browser in Kodi, locate "PVR IPTV Simple Client, click to access the information page and click configure.
In the EPG Settings, set the EPG Time Shift for your location. The EPG is set for UTC+0, so Eastern US would be -4 for Daylight Savings time, or -5 for Standard Time. Enable "Apply Time Shift To All Channels"
      Click OK

    4. Enable TV in Kodi Settings. You may or may not get channels loading. Shutdown and restart Kodi.

After restart, you should see approximately 800 channels loading, the Updater Service notification that it started, and scheduling the next refresh, then the guide loading.

Note that you may have to disable TV, clear data and enable TV if you first don't see the channel load or guide. Persistence will make this work.

    Troubleshooting:

If you know that the EPG Updater started, but aren't getting a guide, check the settings in the PVR Simple Client, to see if the following fields are filled in:
    Code:
    General:
Local Path is set to "http://localhost:8899/channels-1.m3u
    EPG Settings:
Local Path, and XMLTV Path is filled in. Regardless of OS, it must end with "epg_xmltv.xml"
If you didn't see the channels load, go to IPTV Stalker settings and check to see if the M3U Server is enabled, stop then start the server.
