Is anyone looking for a solution to the epg guide not loading in to the pvr?
Using g box q Jarvis 16.1
Yes, I'm also looking for a solution to the EPG guide not loading in the PVR.
I'm running Windows10 & jarvis16.1
I'm experiencing the same thing on one device, on my other htpc it is missing about half the channels.
I don't know if there was a bad pull or what, or if there's something that needs to be done on my end.
EPG hasn't been working for a month. I'm pretty sure IPTV Stalker/EPG/PVR is dead. There's no more support for it.
I wish somebody (MODERATORS) would clarify this by stating whether or not epg is up or down. Now one who knows seems to be willing to help.
I would like to know as well
It's up and working in Stalker Client. This has been mentioned before.
Hello ilan, thank you. Some of us are new to IPTV and have little or no understanding on how to do this. I am confused with terms like stalker, kodi, etc. I don't know how to apply this to a mag254. Someone needs to explain step by step how to do it and mention the box and service for compatibility.
Thanks for the post ilan......
your mag does not need Kodi
Kodi is a operating system that allows applications to be run from
Stalker PVR Client or Stalker Plus are applications that allow a private service to connect. Without that, most devices would not be able to connect to our private services.
Now that Mag box already has Stalker onboard as part of its User Interface. You do not need KOdi or the other Stalker applications.
That Stalker was originally taken from the Mag receiver, and made into an application that other devices could use.
Your Mag box was the first to use Stalker and is permanently onboard your MAG and not just an application, so to speak.
edit..
I should amend this a bit.
Stalker was not taken from the Mag (as I kinda said), it was seen that the Mag was using Stalker and then others followed suit, like the Avov receiver for instance. The AVov emulated the Stalker onto its receiver and user interface.
Then we have PCs and other IPTV devices that do not have Stalker application (middleware) as part of their user interface, so they need that Kodi system so they can in turn run the the Stalker as an application and thus get iptv services.
Stalker is not owned by Mag company or avov or any others, just licensed to use .... I guess is how that works :)
Thank you for that crazed 2.0!! NOw I guess we are out of luck regarding epg? I read some have epg up or am I dreaming.....very confused still......
Hello Guys I don't post much but Go Vegan as a valid question can doe's any one know what is going on with Epg Guide
Thanks Guy's
NO EPG guide is not working, not on the 26th not on the 30th, All I am getting is Erratic or no EPG data for the whole month. In fact nothing working consistently for the whole year.
Using Mbox, MXIII, Couch Potato's IPTV Stalker plus, 10.3.4-r6, kodi 16.1, built in stalker client. IPTV Stalker is working.
Let's see...i just clicked on E4 (UK channel) because the EPG Ninja guide indicated The Big Bang Theory is on. Bingo, there it is!
Follow instructions in the prior post. The guide might not always work via that route, but for the moment it is.

Forgive me for asking but does this mean that Mag users are getting the EPG via ********** but Kodi users can't any more?
The image directly above shows the EPG Ninja guide yesterday in Kodi's PVR Stalker client. It has been loading fine from the URL. It loaded fine this morning. The channels are not working at the moment, though, because some maintenance is underway, but the guide fully populated moments ago.
Code:http://nfps.**********
Hi, I'm also using the Ninja updater add-on and have no EPG guide. So based on what's been said, how do I go from switching from using the Ninja Updater add-on to using the Ninja URL. Do I put the Ninja URL into built-in PVR Stalker settings? And would I need to disable the Ninja Updater add-on if I'm using the URL method or is it safe to leave it on, thanks.
On the PVR Stalker configuration page, choose Remote and put the following address in the Remote URL field.
You can disable the updater when using the remote url. The updater has no bearing on this process.Code:http://nfps.**********
Above method should work with Remote on build in stalker client.
Do a IPTV Reset
(Disable/Delete the Stalker NFPS Addon version if you have it)
Close down
Delete Epg11.db and tv29.db (incase corruption) from C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\Databas e
Enable Stalker PVR(built in) and Simple IPTV Client left on Defaults
Run the Ninja EPG updater once with Stalker PVR config checked to get correct IDs into Stalker then totally disable the ninja updater so It doesn't keep flicking back to local xml.
Add http://nfps.********** as a remote source on Stalker PVR
Should work
I'm mostly populated except afew of the UK channels.
Don't make it more difficult than is necessary. As the person in the prior post noted, it is working as I posted. So...
First, check to make sure the time and date are set properly on your device. If they are not, you will not see any information or you will see inaccurate information in your guide.. After confirming that the date and time are correct, proceed with the instructions...
Condition 1 (You were using Stalker client NFPS):
If you had Stalker NFPS enabled, (1) Disable TV, (2) Disable Stalker NFPS, (3) Exit Kodi, (4) Do an IPTV Reset, (5) Start Kodi, (6) Enable PVR Stalker Client and configure it [instructions below], (7) In the EPG configuration portion, choose XMLTV only, Remote, and add the Remote URL that I posted earlier (and that is posted below), (8) In TV > General: Clear Data, (9) In TV > Guide: Clear Data, (10) In TV > General: Enable TV.
Condition 2 (You were using Kodi's built-in PVR Stalker client with the updater):
(1) Disable TV, (2) Disable the updater, (3) In the EPG configuration section, choose XMLTV only, Remote, and add the Remote URL that I posted earlier (and that is posted below), (4) Go to TV > General: Clear Data (5) Go to TV > Guide: Clear Data, (6) Go to TV > General: Enable TV.

The guide for configuring Kodi's built-in PVR Stalker client is available here:Code:http://nfps.**********
If you're absolutely certain you have everything configured correctly, but the guide will not load, there could be a redirection issue. Try the longer URL...

Are you trying to set up Kodi's built-in PVR Stalker client? At one point, you said it hasn't been working with the EPG for a year. If that is the case, it sounds like you have issues that are greater than configuration.
I used # 2, did the iptv reset, clear data, guide is working, not 100% but is working
I used #1. Worked like a treat. Thanks so much!!
iLan May I take this opportunity to thank you for your HELP! TIME! and I wish that below.

I hope it Is used as a benchmark of how to explain and simplify to users on this forum who don't have an NVQ 5 Qualification in understanding technical jargon. Its EASY!! to understand helps those using different set ups and is Quality. YOU ARE THE MAN. and it worked a treat.
I am using KODI built in stalker and I did what is in post #31. I don't know how to disable the updater and I didn't do a IPTV reset.
I am afraid I will mess it it and I end up with nothing at least I have the channels.
It didn't work for me when I went back to conf it changed back from remote and http://nfps.********** to local all by it's self.
How in the hell do I fix this?????
My mistake it now works on the channels but not in the guide--what the hell that's progress, now how do I fix the Guide--with your help????
First and foremost, I would suggest following the directions explicitly and not second guessing them.
To disable the updater,
System > Settings > My Add-ons > Services > EPG Stalker Updater > Disable
>> How in the hell do I fix this?????
Follow the directions!!!!!
The original directions are explicated here:
http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2...l=1#post156005
Glad to hear...and thanks for the acknowledgment. Ultimately, though, the credit goes to Psycon and the EPG Ninja team for making the guide available.
ilan, trust me man I am trying to do it exactly as it is explained--when I go to stalker epg updater it says enabled how do I change it??Thanks
Click on that line: "EPG Updater .... Enabled"
It will open a menu. One of the choices in the menu will be Disable. Click/choose it. Done. Continue the process/steps.
ilan--trust me man I am trying to follow your directions exactly as you explained them-when I go to services and stalker client updater is enabled how do you disable it?
