Is there a way to reset ivue guide database to fix the no programming available without losing your current tv mappings ? When I do the rebuilt and it does fix the guide problem I lose all of my custom channel mappings.
Is there way to back up your custom channel mappings if so which file is it?

try adding them as favourites from ip stalker then adding to i vue guide. worked for me

The custom mappings are in a file called source*.db in the script.tvguidetecbox folder in Kodi/userdata/addon_data. (The file on my system is source5.db).

You can save that, but I'm not sure if it will work if iVue pushes a new addons.ini to you.

I posted this in the thread twin in the EPG forum in Kodi Discussions. I just posted a modified IPTV Stalker that will allow you to connect with iVue without having to modify your addons.ini, and will prevent the serial number issue that cause authentication issues. If you currently have authentication issues, the fix is to change your MAC and reset your IPTV Stalker to defaults, then update it without setting the "Send Serial Number" flag, or use the the modified IPTV Staker. In any case, set it to Default first.

No, if you completely wipe the settings. If you want to retain the linkings, save the source*.db file

Hello Is there a way to turn off the automated updating of the modified version of iPTV Stalker. My system work fine then it auto updates and I have to go and restore my older version of kodi to get back my old version.
I would just like a way to stop the updating of this add-on.

---I have same problem --I was able to solve it in the long way because I Have to configure it again--- What i did I uninstall KODI then re-install it again in my system android tv box and re install IPTV Stalker only ..

For those who want to fall back to 1.0.18, be aware that soon the addons.ini will be changed by ivue to only send over required info for the server. It will no longer have MAC or serial number info which was causing issues. The best way to go forward for those who have legitimate donations is to modify your macs, so they are server compliant. 1.0.18 will continue to work, but not with iVue.

Hi is any fix for IVE tv guide for android. I have pay subcription

Since stalker updated to 9.0.19 I've had to change the MAC everyday to get it to work, I only use my mac on one device.. Its starting to be a ball ache, it never happened before. Is there any way to fix this problem?

I pulled it using adbfire. all I see in Notepad++ is channel lists. anyone else run into this?

nm I went back and read again and now I understood everything beter. although using the modified IPTV Stalker I get authorization failed errors.
does anyone have a definitive answer for getting a guide working? or using Stalker Client instead which has a fully working guide?

The object here is not to have your mac in the addons.ini, but in the add-on that is being called. You'll probably need a new MAC as the old method prevented use of other add-ons, like the Stalker Client, due to the the psuedo serial number being associated with the old MAC.

Can somebody who is legit input the necessary mac info into the new addons.ini so that i can just copy it back into kodi?

I am not using a Mac...I get this error message through the Android box I loaded it into...is there a different procedure to fix it.

Make it easy on yourself... use the iVue compatible IPTV Stalker 9.1.19 which will use your uncorrupted linked MAC. The iVue guys previously had to put in a dummy mac into the addons.ini so it would continue to work, but they stopped doing that, because it required people to modify that addons.ini to make the call back to IPTV Stalker.

Where can i find the addon ini in OS X... i have been looking for ages and i am pulling my hair out

As I am sure you know, v9.x Stalker doesn't work anymore with IPTV because of the serial number issue :(

Suddenly stalker isn't working at all for me in ivue, keeps saying serial number issue. I have read what you posted but really not clear on what I am supposed to do and why it "suddenly stopped working". Looks like I am on 0.19, so if I need to update to this new 0.21 (which repo is it listed in) and secondly where do I get this serial number exactly? Thanks

You'll need the 9.0.21 to work. There is no current repo that has it, yet.
