Click Stalker EPG Updater...it is a selection/option

When you get to the ensuing menu, click Disable

The channels in that range were PPV movies. They have been moved to the VOD section.
Ilan, I just tried your #2 option and I only am seeing 8 channels listed on the guide..
London Live, ITV 1-4, TG 4, 4 Seven, Channel 4...
I've cleared the channel guide and channels from the settings, deleted the epg xml files out of the pvr.stalker folder...
Still only giving me those 8 channels.. I don't have much hair left to pull out so I'm trying to keep calm lol
I hear ya...Quote:

It is always hard to fathom what's going on with each situation, as I'm sure you're aware. I decided to reload the channels and guide to see if anything was obvious from my end. Nothing turned up... The channels all loaded and the guide is fully populated.
By your post, I surmise you performed Condition 2 steps 1, 4, 5 and 6...

which will usually get things back in gear. Sometimes, though, a reboot of the device addresses problematic situations. In worst case scenarios, an IPTV Reset can perform an even greater miracle.
At the moment, I'm getting quite a bit of buffering, which is seldom the case for me, so things could be in a less than stellar state. Give it a bit of time. Perform the aforementioned steps from time-to-time. Keep me apprised. Hopefully, things will straighten out. If not, we'll probe further.
what are the channel numbers for the VOD because I got nothing between 498 and 644.
VOD movies are not available from within the PVR Stalker client. With a Kodi platform, you would need to use the IPTV Stalker Plus video add-on or Couch Potato's fork of the original video add-on. You can peruse the Kodi > IPTV Stalker (Video Add-on) section for more information.
Many will suggest Kodi movie add-ons will give you a wider array of movie options than will be afforded by the VOD section. I'd agree with that obsevation.
Yes I've tried all those steps, including rebooting my device before enabling it... and doing an iptv reset... all channels work (that I've tried) which in the last few days are a miracle unto itself... Just the xml file isn't loading fully.. It downloads to the pvr.stalker directory as the file is just over 13MB's.. and the epg cache file is there (which is really small, under 100kB)... Not sure what else to try. I wish someone would do a db /xml file to get the ivue 2 epg working without having to save each channel to favorites and point the ivue2 guide to each of the streams... really time consuming lol I'd do it and post it here...
Well, I've been trying to dissuade people from using the updater, at least for the moment. The Remote URL has been more "responsive" over the past few days. Check the original thread to give that a whirl. I suspect you will have immediate success.
O yes….thanks Ilan….your instructions worked.
@dj…..you have to scroll to the stalker client updater and bring up the contextual menu….on my minix remote it is a button with 4 horizontal white lines on it….clicking this button will bring up 'add-on information' and 'configure'….just highlight the former and click it…it will then give you the option to disable.
Just google 'how to bring up contextual menu' for the device you are using.
On another note…does this mean stalker updater is permanently out of the picture? Will there be an update to it that solves the problem?
Hey Ilan, I got the epg working by opening the stalker config xml open on dreamweaver, pasted the long form URL on github to the xml and it works now.. Haven't the clue to why it doesn't work with the short form nfps.********** for me but I got it working.. So long as the xml doesn't move locations I should be good.
This is what I pasted in...

No channels have programme info on my box today. I've got a mag254 and run a paid for IPTV subscription that comes from Malta. Anybody know how I could try and fix it myself or does the guy who sells the service have to do it at his end? Thanks in advance for any replies.
no epg again on mag
changing to remote url with the address that you gave worked for me for one day now i am back with a blank telly guide is there another fix
cheers
Mine loaded fine this morning, so I'm not sure what went on at your end. A number of things could cause the (hopefully momentary) disappearance. If yours didn't load initially, you can try reloading...
(1) TV > General: Disable TV, (2) TV > General: Clear Data, (3) TV > Guide: Clear Data, (4) TV > General: Enable TV
Ilan, this worked for me! Thanks very much!
I use the updater and it grabs an Empty Guide.
On a Tablet I use the remote URL, and it is loading a complete guide, so I guess I will switch from the updater to the URL directly.

opps troubleshooting carried out at STALKER CLIENT under setting ..CACHE GUIDE DATA SHOULD be off or do not select .. as of now EPG guide is loading ..
Clearing data will accomplish that end as well...
Thank you Ilan, I follow your steps and my EPG channels information is loaded, really appreciated your help to people like me that really not have to much knowledge on this aspects.

Hey Ilan, when you use the remote url to download the guide, is it a very large file?
Im trying to figure out why my data storage in Kodi has suddenly spiked to over 2gigs…used to be around 500MB before….I never download anything Im watching, only stream.
No, it shouldn't affect space allocation like that. In fact, it is the same file that the updater downloads. There is no difference in the file's size from before. It usually runs in the 12 - 17 MG range.
If you Clear Data, it should get rid of items associated with the guide. Make sure the updater is disabled or it will continue to download the file.
Agreed. got mine going as well!
#2 method worked for me like a charm, and I'm using IPTV ROCKET with a M8S and Kodi 16.1 pvr stalker client
Glad to hear... Enjoy!
Windows 7 Kodi 16.1 stalker client. Did step 2 channels load no info. Get error guide unable to load
Make sure you're set to Remote and the URL is typed correctly...
If that's all correct, try clearing data again and reloading.
Ya it's set too http://nfps.**********
Try the longer address...

Thank you so much that worked great
Glad that kicked things into gear. Enjoy!
Getting a blank guide again today.
Tried all methods, updaters, urls, different urls, nothing happening.
The guide seems to not load often, for lots of people.
Great when it works.....
Frustrated: My stalker plus wont load. I have used this ninja repo about 20 times before but for the last week I cant get it to load. It starts downloading for ever then after 20 min it just disappears and an Installation fail error comes out. I am not doing anything different. I have checked about 12 videos and they all do the same as me buy in my case it does not work. Was there a change in the repo????
I read this other guy Hees is having the same problem with the stalker plus addon. What can it be
