buffering here on 150 151 1142 and 1143 every 30 secs. Running stalker client on m8. Hardwired. Eastern canada

Aaaaand discovery is back to freezing like mad for me again. Lol

i am in central canada but im using pc with 8GB ram and same buffering as you.

Buffering has returned for me even on non-live shows now on fox sport 1 & 2 and 1143 etc.. :(

I restarted modem and box... Still buffering.
I tried STB emulator same result. Hopefully it gets better by next week. Ufc!!!!

still nothing here.. found a ghetto-way to keep the ipad more steady than my stupid arm/hand..

edit: using the firetv from the bedroom.. its exactly the same on my other box(s)/old laptop it doesn't make a difference, yes I checked them except one and the stationary.

going back to my gf she's yelling shouldn't we watch this together lol.. be watching the thread..

lots of spanish channels are unwatchable... is it worth buying a mag 254? will it change from kodi? I heard they have problems on kodi... please help... I am in europe and it is the only way i can get those channels... I thought I had finally found a solution... :(

no the box wont matter in my experience, neither will the emulator. the emulator handles cache and hickups kinda like a mag. kodi can tweak the cache, but if you have buffering look other where than your box, I have 3boxes, 2 laptops, 1 stationary, and its all the same no buffering..

edit: and most of it is not exactly the newest stuff on the block.. I dont really care about the hardware race as long as its fast enough for my needs and most importantly but not always; working when you want to use it.

Yesterday was the first time the wife reported that things were watchable, with just a freeze or two per 30 minutes on Nick JR and HGTV. Havent tested today yet (have only had IPTV for about a week).

Gave up on discovery, popped on spike, food network, comedy central, and a couple others all of which were having issues.

Now I'm on 0096 pick (a UK channel) with no freezing at all.

Also, fwiw, I used speedtest.net, picked the farthest server available and was pulling 80mbps+ with a 30ms pingtime. Problem isn't on my end, or at least I can't imagine it is

Edit: 0096 pick is now intermittently freezing as well fwiw.

It seems to be more freezing for me today compared to lastweeks...
