Hey guys and gals, with these mini contests to decide our over all winner we thought we'd put each of these mini contest on a time limit. Which would mean even if a member answers the question completely correct, the mini contest would continue till the allotted time has expired. This way the points given out will continue till that time expires as well.
And it gives Farmer the option to announce points given in each mini contest at the end of every contest or wait until all mini raffles have been completed. Farmer still has not decided on that yet.
Our thinking is if one person is way ahead then that may put other members off to continue in the remaining mini contests. So it would be more suspense if we hide the points, we could just announce the amount of points given out at the end of each mini contest, but not give away to who the points were awarded to.... but that'll be Farmer's call.
And one more benefit would be with the first mini contest and if being on a time limit then the time expired the minute Farmer made that post with the points up to that time, which was a mistake, but if we go with the time limit thing, it will wipe out that mistake like it never even happened
That first mini contest went from Friday June 13th to Fri June 20th
It ended at 9 am Farmer's time (Sask., Canada).
The second mini contest started Friday, June 20th at 6 pm Farmer's time.
So it will end at 6 pm next Friday June 27th
