Two of the largest MCE's ever recorded were detected and were directed at the Earth.
Some communication networks went down because of this.

I been hearing the social media talking about a cyber attack from China, as there is evidence of heavy bot traffic from a city in China, which was directed at USA during this same time period as the Mass Corona Ejections.

But it sounds like the culprit for the coms to go down was the MCE's...

The Northern Lights were out and covered most of the northern sky. They weren't dancing as they do sometimes.
There were no colors either, as we see most of the time , just the white light glow this time.
Covered all the north sky at same time, for most of the show that I witnessed.
The Lights spread out such an area that if there were colors it would have been a...

The storm produced by this debris will be weak. As a G1 geomagnetic storm, it has the potential to cause minor fluctuations in power grids and impact some satellite functions — including those for mobile devices and GPS systems.

It will also bring the aurora as far south as Michigan and Maine.

This week, Jupiter will appear slightly brighter as it reaches Opposition.
Opposition is an astronomical term meaning that Jupiter will appear opposite of the Sun from the perspective of the Earth.
This is also around the time when the two planets will be at their closest...

NASA’s Juno spacecraft has provided the first close-ups of Jupiter’s largest moon in two decades.

Juno zoomed past icy Ganymede on Monday, passing within 645 miles (1,038 kilometers). The last time a spacecraft came that close was in 2000 when NASA’s Galileo spacecraft swept past our solar system’s biggest moon.

NASA released Juno’s first two pictures Tuesday, highlighting Ganymede’s craters and...

On the hunt for a missing giant black hole
Chandra X-ray Center, Phys Org | 17 December 2020

The mystery surrounding the whereabouts of a supermassive black hole has deepened.

Despite searching with NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers have no evidence that a distant black hole estimated to weigh between 3 billion and 100 billion times the mass of the Sun is anywhere to be found.

This missing black hole should be in...
