What is a good pistol for a woman to carry open or conceal. Not to big but effective if needed. NEver had a gun before and wanted to get one before taking the classes.

well, found out some news today about the Sun. match. I have to pay $200 a yr for a guest membership to this club to be able to participate in matches and have a club sponsor with me when I want to use the facilities. I found out at the match there were other guest shooters there who weren't paying the $200 guest fee taking part in the match. Got to the public range, Rocky Fork on Weds...great weather, very little wind so thought we'd give the .22's a workout on the 50yd range. I'm one of the 'rare' ones that goes pistol shooting still (I have to travel into the USA or Europe to shoot due to the stupid laws in the UK).

As a brit, I had to surrender my weapons when the ban came in and got very little money back. The public were told that this would bring down gun crime in the UK - it has not! Its gone the other way.

What do members in here think about what happened here in the UK and do you think that people in the USA will keep standing up for the right to keep...
