Hi all I'm what you would call an old fart. Back before Nagra 3 I had boxes set up for friends and family... good times. Since then I have been like a lot of "testers" and waited for a fix so I could have free TV. I finally gave up waiting when I found I could use equipment I already had(PC) and free software to connect to IPTV services from IKS66. I understand that the service is not perfect and is constantly developing counter measures to defeat charlies security. So I don't get too upset if the service suddenly stops working I know that people are working to restore it. One thing that does get my goat a little is when there is a change made in how the service is delivered, a fix is posted and I can't make it work. I am talking about the recent requirement to provide serial no. and such. I can get the IPTV Stalker on to work but not the PVR Client. I followed Hank Ventures' guide with all of the Isengard releases and the latest release of Jasper IPTV Stalker works great, east to set up and the channels work reasonably well for such an immature system. But dang it I want my guide! From what I have read others are in the same shape they too can't get the PVR Stalker client to work. I wasn't able to tell from the posts from those that failed what device they were using or what software the were using. This goes for most of the posts from those who got the PVR client to work. As a result I have no clue if the failures are related to specific device software combinations or what. If anyone has a clue as to why people who can set up the IPTV Stalker and yet cannot do so with the PVR Stalker client please share your thoughts. Without a guide the service loses a lot of it's appeal. My system is an Intell NUC with 2830 chipset and as I said I tried Kodi 15-16.

try this _start with the pvr addon_, and a new "clean" mac address if needed: http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?9441-The-cause-of-all-these-unable-to-load-channels-and-auth-failures-in-my-opinion&p=76241#post76241
"clean" simply means a mac address that have not had serial numbers attached to it, like the one you are using will likely have serial info from iptv stalker addon still attached, so start with one you haven't tested, and tryid different things with previously.
it does work, I have done this several times. don't listen to rumors that say otherwise. :)
like the post say it will fail the first time you start the pvr addon just disable and enable it again or restart kodi, and there will be no future issues.

bump.. I hope the edits help if you have trouble or dismiss it when it fails the first time, just restart and it will not fail again.
pvr stalker is what I use. I do not use iptv stalker, but I tried migrating my settings to a test setup and it worked fine.

Select it to watch TV. You should also have a sub menu under that for the EPG.
Note: If using 8.0.3 PVR Client then go to C:\Users\<LOGIN>\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\pvr.stal ker on Windows or
/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.stalker on Android and open the settings.xml and
insure the connection_timeout value is at 60 and then save the changes.
Note: If you elect to also use the Stalker Video Client you will need to enter the same information for the SR#, Device ID 1 & 2, and Signature fields that you used in steps 16-18.

A big thank you to Tuxen and Alucard with your help I finally managed to setup PVR Stalker Client and it only took 3 tries. Errors I made were when using a generated Mac and the server didn't accept it I only repeated step 2 I tried the same MAC until the server did accept it...no good... reread instructions do same thing AGAIN!!!...DUH I finally realized what was wrong and used the MAC checker with MACs I made up, got an open one and changed my device MAC to match prepped Kodi to fix my foul ups and there is joy in Mudville tonight. When I put in the server address I added http:// to the front I didn't think it would work without. Thank you!!

Hi it's me again, as posted previously I have my win box running Isengard 15.2 with stalker client it works well but not as I hoped no recording and the PVR links show under channels but not in the guide. Oh well. I am still playing with my Matricom G-Box-Q running Android 4.4.2. So far I've joined 4 forums, read six miles of text, rooted the device, spoofed my MAC and need to read some more reading I guess because it's still unable to load channels. There is one good sign though it doesn't error out immediately,it takes a good 2 minutes . I think the problem might be something else. It sure would have made life simpler if there was a reset button on the server to clear your data and set your MAC all xx or something.

You can reset your MAC by using 00:00:00:00:00:00.
I have updated post #4 with some more and new instructions so you may give that a try.

Thanks for your help Alucard, I have some questions for clarification if you don't mind.
My attempts to change my MAC on my Android box worked but unfortunately after the change my WiFi doesn't.
1. If I enter all zeros does it wipe all server data sent by the Stalker Client.
2. Is there any way to reuse a MAC that you have tried before and were unable to load channels
3. From your instructions "9. Enter the Server Address. 11.iptvprivateserver.tv" will this work with out http:// prefix.

1. Yes it should.
2. if you do one, you should be able to reuse the same mac as long as someone else did not snag it in the mean time.
3. No you do not need the http://

Thank you Alucard 1 more question I enter all zeros at the server or in the Stalker Client ? I tried this at the server and went back and checked and the MAC hadn't changed. I really am beginning to think it is not worth the effort, I tried my windows box, no changes on my end and the Stalker Client is again unable to load channels !

You you have both IPTV Video Stalker and PVR Stalker setup, disable the one you are not using and shutdown Kodi.
Then link your donation to the 00:00:00:00:00:00 and save it, then go back and link your donation back to your MAC. Wait a few minutes and then start Kodi.

Thank you Alucard, my understanding is... go to server, change MAC to 00:00:00:00:00:00 click submit, return to server, change MAC to my device MAC,click submit, wait a few minutes restart Kodi and this should let me reuse MAC and setting previously sent by PVR Stalker Client.
