I am researching this particular topic, but information is so scarce! Hopefully someone in these forums can help.
How are IPTV Channels broadcast over the internet? How big/costly is this? Can I broadcast some channels?
I spent ages on Google, and came across companies We had some correspondence and the prices were massive! The tech person said it would cost something around $50,000 (yep fifty thousand dollars) to broadcast 200 channels. He said that was excluding the Data Centre costs and the setup boxes!
That seems crazy expensive! Do we have some IPTV gurus on here that understand this from beginning to end?
I have a feeling this might end up very educational for me and many others! :)
Thank You.

Hi Autoroam, can you elaborate on what you mean please? I've no idea what you're asking! I have an IPTV box, but I've never seen those two messages!

You mean that is a guarded secret? That is why there isn't any information on this?

That is exactly what I'm telling you! I think I might be typing the wrong terms! Are you able to provide any good links that would clear this up?

If Google really not open your eyes, you will need to enroll in the appropriate school

Wikipedia has a complete explanation on how IPTV works. Pretty simple to understand and it was the first thing that showed up when I googled the question.

And my daughter is better when someone else tell her the story, than she can read it herself.
