Hi, my friend is interested in buying 2 rockets for 2 different houses (2 different ip's). Can she buy the 2 rocket service (for $150) but use 1 mac/ip for 1 service, and the other mac/ip for the 2nd service?
or does it have to be 2 separate donations/service purchases?
thanks

The two donation should be fine for her. As fad as I know, the only thing that matters is the MAC address of each box, not where they are and what IP address they are located at. If using a Set Top Box emulator, then serial numbers might also be required but IP still doesn't matter.

ok thanks guys... it looks like she only needed 1 anyway after all.
my main question was about buying 2 donations for 2 different ip's (1 for her house, 1 for her brothers house). i couldn't find the answer to that question in the FAQs.
But it looks like based on the replies here, that would be ok.
thanks again

Yes... To rockets will enable two MAC addresses (2 IPTV boxes). Doesn't matter where they are, or the IP address accessing them.
You can get to 4 boxes on two rockets though. But it would have to be 2 IPTV and 2 IKS. Still, ip addresses are irrelevant.
