Did they pull kodi from Google play store

I reset my nexus player today because of some hardware issues and went to Google play to reinstall kodi and can no longer find it don't know what's going on..

No. I downloaded it from there earlier today.

I tried my galaxy phone and its there but for some reason it's gone from nexus player

Might be a particular device hold. Check using a PC browser by going to the play.google.com site.

I can find it on other devices just not on the nexus so maybe it is some kind of device hold

I had the same issue. Just download the x86 version, sideload it and it shows up on the main screen.
