20 new channels, 51 in total

Well as the title says, up to 51 now, great picture quality for me but I don't have a dish so have nothing to compare it against. I also have my mag254 hard wired to my router (ie rj45) so not using wifi. Have people using wifi tried a wired connection, do you get a better service? All good!

You will absolutely get better service using a wired connection to your router. WiFi is ok for low bit rate streams, but if you are streaming HD, you will definitely notice a lot of buffering. Currently the NFPS test isn't running real HD, but if/when it does, you shouldn't be using WiFi.

We do our best to confuse, topics can often fit in more than one area and using the New post brings up the latest, site is new and when beneficial changes can be made it will be done as some have already been done.

Do we need subtitles on BBC America? Annoying...especially since they are in yellow.

Hadn't thought of this before but that may explain why I think the picture quietly is great, I'm using my MAG on a Sony 37 inch, so as you say the quality goes down as the size of TV goes up

Audio much much better on the Sky channels, also picture quality seems to have a lower resolution but smoother than the original set of channels.

the new batch of channels include several SKY channels from the UK. Since I don't believe these channels are sourced from the Charlie or Dave......where do they come from ? (Mexican or South American source ?)

No it doesn't matter....but I'm thinking that if they can get SKY channels, then they could also get ITV and BBC (something us ex-pats would be happy to see), which would be great (even although its a departure from what NFPS said......

Patience is key. They have been adding channels every week, which is prolly the first step. Fine tuning will come later. There are a lot of moving parts to get this up and running. I for one am pleased with what I see so far and better yet seeing PROGRESS every week is huge. Rome wasn't built in a day :)

im seeing the same thing, im sure they just want to save on the bandwidth thru the trial period.

im looking at my other private servers

My Spanish IPTV im seeing
640x480 for SD and 1920x1080 for HD.

My English IPTV which i hope to replace with nfps im seeing
850x480 for SD and HD

download the mx player... dont have a amazon stick but you have the emulator loaded right? get the mx player and set it to external player and use the mx player

you definitely want to run an external player. using the internal player causes issues due to program parameters. by running an external player,it lightens up the data load on the stb emulator. adding more channels puts more load on the emulator. so its beneficial to try to offload some of that to a supporting program.

I agree, i started a thread in the fire tv xda section and everyone is expirencing better playback with MX as their external player. Internal and VLC plugin crash a lot.

I'm running FireTV by the way and can take some of the load lol.

Use XMTV works better then MX. MX is not loading live tv channels. XMTV is. Currently testing MX vs XMTV and so far XMTV is loading tv channels that MX fails.

Looks like the BEST team is running tiers from most of the providers, and getting it adjusted to open em all. Great job team the ones you are testing have all been really good on my end.
