thanks for reply. what about others? they come in, but freeze, buffering a whole lot. is there like a mimimum internet speed you must have. I have dsl high speed. is that too slow?

I have ipstvstalker on kodi. I can get some channels, though lots freezing. when click in movie though, like ppv movie, just says working, momentarily, then nothing happens. what can I be doing wrong? already linked mac to nfps don, and all that. the serial number field is blank, as I dont know what would go there, but works, just freezes and no movies.

VOD only works with "IPTV Simple Client" or "Stalker Client" TV Guides, not the IPTV Stalker addon

The PPV channels are different than the VoD, or Video Club on-demand movies. Because of changes at the server, Kodi can not decode those streams because it doesn't know the encoding, where it did before. The PPV channels on the channel list will play fine via IPTV Staker, or through its server to PVR Simple Client.

I havnt been able to get PPV from channel list for past few weeks using Stalker Client on Kodi. Have watched in the past, My Kodi and Stalker client is all upto date. I understand the VoD section shouldn't be working but PPV on list should any ideas?

ppv works fine in pvr, they take longer to load sometimes almost so you think it times out. but they will show be patient.
i found after opening one ppv movie they seem to open faster (within the same session), could be placebo or just difference in how fast the server(s) locates the different movie files.

edit: looking at the kodi log its not the format of the VOD movies that have changed or is a problem, but the way they are fetched or have to be fetched have changed.

actually, I dont even know what stalker i have. I go into video, add onn, and see IPTVSTALKER-RIP. is this the incorrect one. sorry, so new to this.

"RIP" is a clone that attempts to bypass the authentication for the Server by using a fixed MAC and sending the hashed serial number. You will need to use the IPTV Stalker version 1.0.18 or 9.0.21 for any support here.

If you or anyone else could figure how to fix this, I'll be happy to test it out, then release it as an update. I did look at that when it first became a problem, for some reason Kodi can't find the right decoder for the .ts stream in the .m3u8. The add-on first caches the VoD list, and then fetches the url from that cache. It uses the same approach to regular channels, and the call to the video decoder is common for the VoD and regular channel list... but it bonks on the VoDs. This all happened when the server took the VoDs down for reorganization a few months ago.

Nevertheless, the VoDs are a nice-to-have, but not a must, due to available add-ons for movies in Kodi.

You have a valid question, but you should find the appropriate topic for it, or start one on your own. Its best to look at the stickies for set up instructions, and there is a tutorial forum as well in the Kodi discussion.

sorry foe elementary question s, why create a clone? is there a problem just getting the legit stalker app?

They didn't make a significant change, only default settings. Some people out there want to make a name for themselves to get eyeballs on their videos, because YouTube pays them for views. In the end, their subscribers get these things to work for a day or two, and the scammers will come up with something else to get the videos watched. With the serial number requirement, it will be harder to hijack working MACs.

IPTV Stalker does have other capabilities that don't work beside the VoDs, including fetching EPG info. The code is open source, and because of that, its hard to bring a genie out of the bottle to clean up security issues.

Stalker is in the Kodi already just enable it Kodi 15.+
Also the epg address must be enabled with http://**********/NFPSE.xml
Also a 13 digit serial number then it all works
At least it did for me

thanks so much..so, with a legit stalker app, it will be required to enter a serial number? right now that field is blank. also, so is this clone whats causing the freezing and no movies?

VOD is not working on my stalker although I was on another stalker and I had said the same both of them have different accounts from the same provider
