OK all fixed. Issue is new serial numbers needed. Found a fix. Thanks dafatmack. For all those running Kodi and Stalker Client.
1. Get a new Mac Address from server.
2. Go into Kodi and turn off Live TV, and clear data. (I always clear two times to make sure.)
Go into system, addons, PVR clients, and disable Stalker Client.
Go in and configure Stalker Client, and make these changes.
1. Change Mac Address to new one.
2. Make up and enter Serial number: any 13 digits
3. Make up and enter Device ID: any 4 or more digits or letters - I used my device name
4. Make up and enter Device ID2: any 4 or more digits or letters- I used my 2nd devices name (phone)
5. Make up and enter Signature: any 4 or more digits or letters- I made up something special to me
Enable stalker client 0.8.3.
Go back and turn Live TV on. I needed to do this 2 times.
Now you are up to par with the new security. If you use your Mac address for more than one device all info must be entered the exact same. Remember to never use the two devices at the same time.

I installed the video stalker client first the 9.0.21 version that allows serials and then with another fresh mac connected and then I set 0.83 pvr client and all was fine. Did 4 kodi machines in my house from Canada.
MYbe installing the video plugin and connecting first deletes something I dunno but it seemed on the first two machines I was having trouble starting on the pvr. Once I went to the plugin first they were all smooth as butter.

I have changed my MAC with private server several times; each time I get the successfully changed message in green and still get Authentication Failed. Entered both letters and numbers in the serial and ID's and still get Authentication Failed. I give up, they make it to difficult.

Coming from Stalker Client NFPS and earlier IPTV Stalker video add-on.

If I enable another client can my favorites work or will it crash?

Use groups not favorites. just make sure you disable the group sync with back end under the Live TV Settings. You can use this app here to help you manage all your channels and groups by using a template. http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?8634-Kodi-PVR-Channel-Template-Loader

Anything similar I can do from my mac?

Does it matter what server address you use?
Does it matter what server address you use?
See the tutorials on what server address you use for IPTV Stalker or PVR Stalker. It does matter. In the future for Kodi 16, there will be a change in the server address.

I have a couple of questions/
1. Currently using IPTV Stalker but would prefer to use Stalker Client. Therefore should my first step be to disable or uninstall IPTV Stalker?
2. The first step in the instructions "1. Get a new Mac Address from server.", where is that referred server?
Alucard
10-22-2015, 03:26 AM
You don't have to disable IPTV Stalker. Just make sure all your fields match in the PVR Client before you enable it. If it is enabled, disable it, make your changes and then enable. Then toggle/enable Live TV.
Now if you only have the send serial enabled without a custom mac then you will need to reset your MAC and set a custom MAC.

2. The first step in the instructions "1. Get a new Mac Address from server.", where is that referred server?
1. There would be no need to disable it if you have configured it with the new credentials & it is working, although disabling or uninstalling it would do no harm & possibly rule out any possible confliction errors in the event that you're trying to troubleshoot down the line. It's just one less thing to worry about, but not totally necessary. The chances are that you'd have no need for it anyway if you intend to use the built in live tv feature in conjunction with the PVR client.
2. One of the following (depending on your donation):
NFPS: https://papiao.is/main/search_nfps
Rocket: https://papiao.is/main/search_rocket/
IPTV66: https://iks66.tv/main/search
Enter your route/donation number (your route number is at the bottom of your email under Username & Password), complete captcha challenge & search. Then change MAC (use format 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX) You can replace the X's with the last six digits of your android box or you can generate a new MAC by going here:
http://www.miniwebtool.com/mac-address-generator/
In the 'MAC address prefix' field type 00:1A:78
In the 'MAC address format' field click the dropdown arrow & choose the second option (the one with the colons)
Click 'Generate MAC Address'
Use that as your MAC address when linking to your route/donation. If you get an error just change a digit or two until it's accepted.

The IPTV Stalker addon works fine but NOT the Stalker Client. I don't know why this fails for me I have tried it on fresh installs of Kodi no go I have reset Stalker to defaults no go I have deleted stalker settings.xml no go. I have tried different versions of Stalker Client DL'd from git hub NO GO.... I'm beginning to think I have offended the TV Gods I really think it would be in the best interests that run the servers to insure that the between 2-3 million people that use Kodi have the ability to connect to their servers via a client that provides an EPG. It is
not a pleasant viewing experience to have a boat load of channels and not know what is on. If anyone can point me to a solution that would great. If I can't have a guide I see no reason to continue with a subscription to the service. Thanks

If your running the 8.0.3 version, you need to go manually in to the settings.xml and change your timeout. There is an issue with this version in setting the timeout from the interface.
Close Kodi
Go to C:\Users\<LOGIN>\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\add on_data\pvr.stalker on Windows or
/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.stalker on Android and open the settings.xml and
insure the connection_timeout value is at 60 and then save the changes.
Restart Kodi and try again.

Im not on 0.8.3 but 0.8.4 but i checked out what you said….somehow on 0.8.4 the max timeout you can set (on config page as well as in advanced settings xml file) is 15 sec.

Hi all I had the PVR Stalker Client working on Isengard 15.2 I followed Alucards post and after many tries achieved EPG Nirvahana LOL, but i must have offended the TV gods because it returned to "Unable to load channels" with no changes on my end. Since then I have tried resetting my MAC several times first checking with the MAC checker to verify that the MAC was open. I have not been able to get the PVR Stalker Client to work. For trouble shooting I have uninstalled Kodi and reset my MAC reinstalled Kodi setup the Stalker Client from a .txt file with addresses CP from setup of the MAC on the server, serial,ID's and signature from a random alphanumeric generator CP to the txt file to and server and epg addy's from posts to eliminate typo errors. Still UTLC. Switched to Kodi Jasper 16 beta 3 and used procedure from above to setup Stalker Client get Failed to connect to server. I used the same info as was entered into the Stalker Client to setup IPVTV Stalker 9.0.21 and the server accepts data from that source. I also noticed that Kodi 15.2 is unstable on my Windows 10 box, when trying to setup Stalker Client 15.2 would shut my PC, Jasper does not exhibit this behavior.

Use either PVR stalker client or IPTV stalker.... using both creates nothing but freaking headaches.

Using only Stalker Client I used IPTV Stalker to verify that the MAC I had linked worked then disabled IPTV Stalker and switched to the Stalker Client which I finally got to work. I am using the latest version of Kodi and the 9.0.7 of the stalker doesn't handle the server address right. I found an address that does work on a thread by dara hxxp://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html people with problems might give this address a try.

I keep getting this error Mac Address Could not be Updated when I try to upload my generated mac address on the web site, and do you have to use numbers like 25:25 with colons for your serial and product ID numbers?

The colons are for your mac address only.. For mac are you using 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX format?

Ok guys I'm completely lost here! I purchased through iptv rocket, got a order email, checked the order on their website. It says the donation has been assigned, I'm trying to get this running on kodi isengard. What the heck is my mac address as is not clearly stated!?! Is there any place for cut clear instructions? You'd think after you'd pay you'd at least get that! Lol

Read this: http://iptvtalk.net/iptv-how-to-setup.pdf
On Kodi homepage under System choose System, System Info, then scroll down to Network. Your MAC address is there. Use the last six digits & add them to 00:1A:78 Use that as your MAC & link it to your donation. You don't have to use those last six digits, you can generate one using the link in post #81 above. The important thing is to have your MAC in hexadecimal format 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX
