ITV Authorization failed

I am not able to get into Rocket on IPTV Stalker modified (9.0.20) on Kodi 14.2 (Dreamlink T6). I get an "ITV Authorization failed" error. I deleted the settings.xml file, and I changed the mac address both on the portal and on my box, but I am still getting an error. How do I fix this?

Do some reading.To be honest, I did. It's still not clear to me as to what exactly needs to be done to fix this issue. Some folks have recommended downgrading to 9.0.19, but others have indicated that this won't work.

I would very much appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction. TIA.

I'd be interested... Are you using a Fire Stick or Fire TV? If you are, I've been trying to get this sorted out for the past few days. If you aren't using a Fire Stick or Fire TV, this may still apply...

update: I uninstalled IPTV Stalker modified (9.0.20) and installed the original IPTV Stalker (1.0.18), and I am now able to log in and access everything again. I did have to enable "send serial number" to get past the authorization issue.

There has definitely been a change in the server security protocol in the past couple of days, which is causing these issues.

that's great for us legitimate users, but it would have been extremely helpful if you could have given us a heads up. It's not any of our fault that the modified stalker client posted in a sticky on this very forum doesn't work anymore, and many of us have had to spend hours debugging the issue and clogging up the forums...

Yes, please tell us more astf, I too had been struggling to figure out the dreaded "Bad or Missing Serial Number" until I found this tread. I have video now using Kodi IPTV Stalker, but only if I don't use the PVR Simple Client addon. It's a small price to pay mind, if it's all related to the huge improvement in streaming quality I see today.

Is there a particular place should we be looking for answers when the changes of which you speak arrive?

Trying to find an answer here as well. I get authentication failed in IPTV stalker. Some posts show to update the client, do not send serial number, send serial number, create new mac address, server is down because of some hardware with isp routing. What is it? Before I attempt to fix, I don't want to break it more...Like changing my mac address with sending serial number which blacklists my actual mac. 😐

Read the stickys and the announcements. You need to have either 1.0.18 or the new 9.0.21 and send serial number, preferably a customized serial with device ids and signature, and probably a fresh MAC.

I think a lot of us have the same problem so I'm guessing something's going on at their end.
As always, just need to wait it out.

unless you go to the nfps xxxxxxx website...then all youll hear form the mods there is how it must be your box because everything is working fine on their end..just like they always say everytime theres a problem..
problem appears to be most all english channels..music vids and foreign language channels load and play just fine
