Playing with kodi a bit this am and am having an issue with video playback size. The kodi interface takes up my whole screen, as it should, but the actual video being played is small and in the upper left hand corner of my TV screen. (But if I hit OK, the controls are at the edges where they should be)
Tvonline plus box is set to 1080p@60hz, TV is set correctly, and I've tried tweaking the zoom and other video settings in kodi but I can't seem to figure it out.
Any advice?

Change the resolution in Avov>Settings>Display to 1920x1080 and that should fix that, unless your TV is 720 in which case change to 720!!

Thanks for the quick reply!!
The avov box is set to 1920x1080... Or at least it was yesterday when I setup the tvonline box. (I'll check again. *edit: checked, it is*) As you can see in my pic the controls are where they should be, taking up the whole screen... But the video itself is small and stuck in the corner. None of the video settings in kodi seem to scale or zoom it properly.

Rechecked the settings in the avov. It's set to 1920x1080p@60hz. Everything in the avov takes up my whole screen, including the kodi interface. It's just the video that's oddly small and off center. Granted, this is an SD stream, but with kodi on my other android devices I can tweak the zoom settings to make it scale properly.
On my tvonline+ I can tweak the zoom in kodi's video settings, but as the image gets larger the upper left side of the video goes off screen. By the time the video makes its way to the bottom right I'm unable to see most of what's supposed to be on the left.
Played with kodi's video calibration settings too, and the blue angles and lines show on my display at the edges where they should.
Basically, if the video box weren't top left justified I could just zoom it... But it is, so I can't. Hmm.
Mind checking your kodi video settings and letting me know what your zoom mode, amount, pixel ratio, etc are set to?

Again, I had the same issue it's not kodi, I unistalled Kodi and re installed and nothing!! Then a after changing the Display setting a couple of times it work for everyone that had the issue!! try setting to 720P as a test if you like and you will see the change!!

Hmmmm. Despite the fact that my avov display settings are set to 1920x1080p, kodi is reporting my resolution to be 1280x720 under system info.
Any thoughts?

Kodi resolution is set to whatever the movie or TV Show you are watching, Kodi default is 720P but the video resolution is set by the source!! click on a movie that is 1080P and click okay and it will show you in the display bat below that the movie is displaying under 1080!!

You are not the only one that this happen to, and everyone that change the resolution in Display it fixed it, if for some reason after actually tried it and it did not work i suggest that you create a ticket with avov support!! FYI you do have to exit out of Kodi properly (turned off) and then re enter Kodi!!!

After a bit more fiddling I managed to get it to show video properly, but only in 1280x720p@60hz. Shutting down kodi completely made the difference.
Still doesn't work right at 1080, even after shutting down kodi as advised, but I'll deal with it until avov drops an update. Hopefully they do. Thanks guys.
Also, fwiw, even if I don't start any streams at all, going into kodi-settings-status always shows 1280x720 even though everything else is set to 1080p. Even tried at 480p and kodi was still saying 1280x720.
Not complaining, I'm just sayin'.
Again, thanks for the support and big ups for the community and those who help to make it great. :)
