Volume control

Can someone help me please I am running android m8
I accidentally lower the volume control and can't seems to increase it so the end results is I can hear anything.

I figure it out
while looking at a show the tool bar has the volume control its all the way to the right.
Just click on it and a window will pop up then increase the volume control
