hi where do i get my mac address or is it something i make randomly

i tried cmd and did get mac and i got a number but when i go on rocket tv add mac i get an error that says could not update mac address

the mac i got starts with 90:4C:E5:xx:xx:xx

just curious is this how its supposed to be? im using kodi on my laptop for now until i get my device
