When ever i try to record a show on mag 254 i get "missing file" message why is this?

You're learning th real truth about recording with this box. The "missing file" message is a secret code which means "I won't record now and never plan to at any time."

I won't say never, the box is capable of recording and it has to be enabled by the provider (Nfps/Rocket) the question should when will they allow it

I'd suggest the question should be "why not now" Why don't they allow it as they did with satellite.
