I have tried to record and i keep getting a message saying bad or missing URL is this a bug or a turned off feature ?

I would say that one would need more information to give you an answer. IE what receiver are you using, where are you trying to record to and from>>>ETC.

I am using the mag254 and from the tv chanels in both iptv and main portals i get url not found.

I am getting the same message...MAG254 trying to record iptv stream to a usb thumb drive. The drive shows up on the device but comes up with that same error message. I am working on it now but feel it might be fixed once everything is truly live.

I don't think the recording feature has been set up yet on the NFPS portal (I don't think its available on the Inner Portal either)

One thing I would suppose is that you have to have enough drive space to hold any thing you may wish to record Some HD movies are over 3 gb . I have a 16 G memory card and go to the inner portal , download manager, and set up a recording session, took it without a hitch. That wont work for the channels in the outer portal of course, I haven't done that yet. I will try that after while, and see what jumps up.

Maybe is due to those movies are on everyday no need to record?

Have not tried recording at all but with the tv channels how do you specify how long for, may need EPG to help out ( guessing).
