Linking Mag254 MAC addr with Donation Problem

My old donation number expired yesterday. It was linked to my mag254 box. I got a new number and I can't link my mac addr to new donation number because it says mac is already in use. When I lookup the mac addr it says already in use. When I lookup the old donation number it says donation expired and macaddr is all zeroes. When I try and change the old mac addr it say Mac Address Could not be Updated.
Does anyone know how I can link my new donation number to mac addr of mag254 box?

Does anyone know how I can link my new donation number to mac addr of mag254 box?with the unit TURNED OFF go to site and assign Mag to a different Mac # only change the last 2 digits....when it shows OK then re-assign the Mag it's proper Mac address again and all should be OK.....worked for me.....cheers....frogger

Thanks, but I don't think I can assign a different mac addr to my mag254, that's a fixed thing. I need to assign my NEW donation to a mac addr and it says that mac addr is already in use. They didn't release my mac-address when my old donation expired. There's only two screens I know of, Donation Checker and Mac Status. These are my results:

Donation Checker/Change IPTV MAC address, result: Mac Address Already Exists
Mac Address Status, result: his MAC Address 00:1A:79XXXXXXX is already in use

If my OLD donation number had not already expired I could change the mac address, but since it has it won't let me.
And my NEW donation number can't link to my mac addr because it's already in use.

IKS Rocket has not responded to my email yet.

Yes, well I don't have much choice but to wait. It would just be nice to watch tv and forget all about this :-)

I'm having the same problem. I had a previous iks sub with rocket, which also worked for my mag254 with iptv. With only 4 days remaining on my rocket sub, I renewed directly with NFPS, and got a new donation number showing 366 days. I changed the portal servers to reflect nfps, instead of the old rocket url. However, as my rocket sub expired today, I'm not able to get the screen to load, and when I try to update the mac address using papiao, it says "mac address already in use" It looks like Rocket didn't release my MAC from the old sub which just expired. I sent a photo of the Mac number from bottom of unit, along with my new donation number to info @ papiao.t as someone else suggested. I sure hope this works. Has it worked okay for others? Anyone else with the same type problem? Thanks for your help.

Update****.. Was able to change my MAC address online today, and mag254 now accepts NFPS as provider. and it's working great! Thanks..!
