Hopefully, the techs have seen this and can figure out how to shut it down. These guys could pump out loads of new users. It's obvious they've just taken the Stalker add-on and re-engineered it a bit.

Looks like a pay app to me......
It is just a slightly modified Stalker add-on. I think in this video or the one he had on previously but took down it showed verion 9.0.19, the version made specifically to work with IVUE.
The link worked fine, but he took down the video. It was obvious that he sold quite a few and had loads of people asking for details so they could buy.

He's made a new video and is now giving it away. The claim is it does not need a Mac Address. He's got 60,000 subscribers, so it could be a mess if a substantial number of those are hammering the servers.

If it starts getting bad then the best option is to let it be free and accept donations. That way they get more money to get better servers.

I've given this some consideration. It appears the modified app accesses their server first, where it is fed a Mac Address then it continues on to the Stalker servers. While that Mac Address continues to work, it keeps being passed. When the Mac Address gets shut down, they feed it a new one. The guy mentioned in another video that he had a huge supply of working Mac Addresses, so I think this is their strategy.

It would be ill advised to use an altered version of anything from a third party as they can gather your information.

Not according to the thread. Several people within the last hour have indicated that it is working. The former Mac Address might have been shut down, but they have fed it a new one.

This portal has more than 10 places where you can enter without problems if you have a basic IT literacy.

I have been looking at these modifications and think it is wrong as it is not there tech this guy definitely wants to be a superstar in this area and
his following is 60k plus and it is clear he and his coharts are setting up to profit from all of this.:cool:

Exactly! If he can add a few thousand people a day to server demand, it will ruin things for everyone. He is too short sighted to realize that. He's blinded by the need to make an immediate splash.

Yes, several hours ago it was not working for some. But look at the time stamps. Recent comments indicate it is now working again. As I said, they just pass the app a new Mac Address and people are back hammering the servers.

Will you stop it? It's not specifically the android boxes. The server guys made a decision, either technical or business, that only requires them to accept the MAC address for authentication. They have the ability to make it harder for people to log on, but it may be too much trouble for them for now.

The Kodi apps/emulators all have the ability to adapt to the server. The server guys have their reasons, but blaming them because of android use sounds overly opinionated. You made a decision to buy a STB, they have their limitations as well.
I'm closing this thread. There is no point in going forward with this.
