Ok members getting this NAND flash issue will need to open a ticket at the help-desk http://help.avov.tv and possible rma or repair over there. There are a lot of tickets just tell everyone to bare and they will get around to it. For the most part all the package installer issues have been resolved!

this has been fixed On another note, the nand_flash issue has been resolved along side the package installer. Also if you notice they put an app on the marketplace called 'memory cleaner' to help clear cache and other memory issues. Let me know. has any one tried this yet and i didnt see memory cleaner

It has not been fixed. There are still some of us with problem.
Have you tried a factory data reset? It should allow you to download the new updates if the prompts are not coming. Please let me know and check back.

Thanks asft. I have 2 also, well 1 and the ghost of one. My bedroom box didn't have this problem at all. The living room box is a brick right now. I have other boxes and pc hooked up to my tv. Thats why I know if it isn't pushed I might just let it sit. Well that depends on how much of a pain my wifey will become cause she loves the tvonline box..she says its simple

I see memory cleaner but nothing can update, not the new file, apps in market place can't load ....then and flash update failed error is going on from Sunday 4th Oct.
I have submitted a ticket number 411, sent in the serial number form, reported it in bugs form, so I will wait on the techs from Avov.
On their Facebook page they report its solved ,I wish they would just email the fix to members with this issue.

I was going to start moving all friends and family who want or already have nfps to avov, but I don't want to deal with this headache in addition to the problems we have with nfps now. They make it more difficult on us and themselves by not posting the updates so that we can do it ourselves. For me no biggie cause I have firestick, android box, and pc on livingroom tv, but getting others to invest and have them down for long periods of time would be a problem. Please Avov can you be practical and help us help ourselves....post fix

This is becoming Ridiculous now, like when they are saying to download the cleaner,,,Dude therein lies the problem the downloader is stuck... how silly is that?

Honestly, I have been lobbying about 30 people to switch to avov because iptv is so much better on my tvonline box. Had about 12 people planning the switch with the others considering it. I will now tell them to save their money.

It does not work because you can't download it. All packages are stuck on zero. Nothing downloads the package are stuck

Yes I did, and when you try and install cleaner it opens up the package download window and stays stuck at zero

Maybe they should tackle one problem at a time because some times people need to do things in a very deliberate manner. 1st fix the package loading problem, then the nand flash error problem, so push package loading fix then nand flash error fix

asft I really appreciate your time and effort in trying to be the mediator, so we can solve this issue. Their resolution is to have us send our boxes in. I know I can be an ass sometimes when it comes to customer service, but its because I was a call in tech support specialist with cablevision, and was hyper aware of how the customer was feeling and tried to always go the extra mile to make sure the customer was happy at the end of a call. I had 10 minutes to take care of a problem, and did everything humanly possible. I can't for the life of me understand sending my box in. When its as simple as letting us download and do ourselves. I know I can't have people I help with their boxes, be down for days and then have to send it in. This is a customers nightmare, and they should see it as a customer service issue.

I only have 2 boxes and 1 is down other is purring like a cat, and I hadn't started moving my peeps over to avov yet. Having kodi on it basically sealed the deal, but can't see this type of problem not have an easy solution. Which is they found the bug and have the fix that can easily be installed by the person themselves, but whatever. I know I've spoke to a few people on facebook and a few here that have same problem. I don't know how wide spread it is.

My avov is doing the same thing package installer freezing and nand_flash error as of today I'm calling this box junk and moving on I been dealing with this for almost Two weeks no tv no answers and no files posted to fix the box instead today I received an email to return the box just pay shipping to get it there well I won't be sending it I'm just going to eat the 100 I already paid I'm not going to put more money and effort into a product with poor support that gets it up and running that could easily be solved by posting the nand_cleaner as a DL in the files section and factory files for all the equipment that is out. What little it worked I enjoyed to bad they lost a costumer for lack of post a do it yourself file.

look they are trying to make thing right if they said forget it then that bs but they are working hard to fix this sorry for what happen they did put a fix out that most say didnt work send the box back and get it fixed you'll be happy you did i know i run two of them its up to you but if it was me i send it back and get it running this box really works great i know it hard to hear that but a hundred buck to me is a lot of money when i only get one check a month send it back and you will see what this box should do

You don't..........I'm looking for a replacement myself. The one thing I hate most is horrible customer service. It gets stuck in my head and I rarely recover. I'm just going to move on. My buddy is telling me to give box to him and he'll send it in....lol For me it becomes more than the box or money I spent for box. It just really drives me mad to be disrespected with poor service especially since I've been lobbying people to move to Avov. It all becomes about principal for me........lol.....I'm a nut that way, but so be it, and I rather set box on fire than give it to my friend and have him happy with something I'm so dissatisfied with.

i bit the bullet and sent mine back tuesday.i had no confidence that this was gonna be fixed anytime soon.and i wanted a working box in time for some nhl .so i figured $16.50 to ship it back to them(canada)was still cheaper than buying a new box.will post when i get it back (hopefully fixed?)

do what you must but the mage 254 or avov tvonline for me it tvonline all the way i really like using kodi with it but i must say tv asson is way to go for the tvonline box and the iptv is great to have

I don't think anyone is trying to bad mouth avov we all are frustrated that they want us to send in the box witch cost more money and be with out TV until it comes back and more time waiting. Asft I have seen you on the sister site where files loaded for boxes so we could fix things are self? That's what people switching over to iptv want they want a more convenient way to get the box working other than sending it out and waiting a week-two weeks longer for it to get fixed and sent back when a simple set of files to do a manual update would fix the issues. That's why I'm getting a different box it's ships to me in 2 days and I'm back up and enjoying TV vs waiting for bugs to get fixed and sending it back and forth what happens if issues come up with the box again and has to be sent back a second third or fourth time shipping adds up and if that's the pattern there establishing is send it back it's something I don't want to think about or deal with. I'd just as soon buy a different box as I see some other customers feel the same. Eliminating the shipping back and posting the files for manual update would help redeem some of the bad taste left in people's mouths and bill folds.

i here you on that but for most part for me only one time if you needed to do that every time they would go out of business and yea i here you on that one and they been trying for a manual update fix which don't work for what i see and they are trying everyday to make one wish i could tell you why but what i see send it back i don't know anything about there code give them a chance so they can make it right that's all i ask i wouldnt be happy without tv too heck my tv broke and my wife said everyday is the part here for week almost wanted to shoot myself so i know

Well, it got fixed. I had package installer stuck at 0% after doing a factory reset. Decided to send it in on Monday evening (October 5th), after waiting a couple of weeks to get the fix pushed to my tvonline box. Best thing I ever did, spent 13.20$ for shipping with tracking number. Avov received it on October 7th, fixed it and shipped it back to me on October 9th. Noticed the new build number in system info of 1.0.19 instead of 1.0.17 before sending it in. Installed kodi and a bunch of other apps with no issues whatsoever. So a lot of people are bad mouthing the company, but they did fix mine quickly once I sent it in, and I am a happy camper now. Just need to pay a small shipping cost, they will cover the shipping cost to send it back. More importantly, it got fixed.

I totally agree with you, do not understand why they can't release file to put on USB. However, I thought I would share with the members of my experience of having it fixed after sending it in.

You all are talking about sending back it boxes, that may not be an option for everyone, I live in the caribbean this is an international thing and the cost from here is about the same cost of the box. That is not the solution they need to get this sorted quickly or their brand will suffer greatly

I now have 4 avov boxes 2 tvonline and 2 tvonline +, and one of them is stuck in this error. I hope I'm not out of bounds saying this. If he got banned for stating that opinion this place is harsh. I'm kinda upset to cause I'm disabled and can't just go and stand around at a post office, but I love my tv, and am very techy, so would love to be able to get a fix that can be done at home.

I am handicapped myself, so I understand, all you need do is go online to USPS or call your post office and the carrier will pick up your box for transport to avov if necessary. Good luck..

You can always use UPS or FedEx too....the decisions are yours if sending unit back is requiredthey will come to your door to pick up a package also..

wow, so what can I blame them for? People are really sensitive here. I don't know if avov is a sponsor here, maybe they are, but come on let a person vent the frustrations of having to pay for something they don't feel they needed to. if the box didn't have so many bugs, or they had a file download I wouldn't need to shell out so much money. I just hope there isn't another bug next week that will require the box to be shipped back to them.

All we are saying is that we need it fixed, i've been having the issues so have other I'm in the caribbean. Spoke to avov they said they'll get it fixed but that was over a month ago, still nothing to this day. Ive had my minx and mag running no problems with my minix i atleast could manual update which I've done but it's frustrating to know that it's been so long and if all i had was the avov tvonline then I'd be even more pissed off. I too run a small business and if i sold my clients the avov tvonline and they all had this issue I'd be in loads a trouble so people do have the right to express the truth and the truth is that the avov tvonline has not delivered for some of us. It's painful and disappointing everytime i go to check the box to c if it has been fixed you realize it hasn't brings me back to when asus screwed me with the transformer prime tablet sent it back for rma twice soo disappointing, i even submitted another ticket to avov thinking well the first one got lost because I still have the dead box here, for the record I'll just like to say I'm disappointed.

Don't doubt how good and kind their hearts are I'm just saying could you imagine what the people without alternatives are going through, there should be a manual fix this server thing obviously isn't working snd it should have already been apparent from all the posts online, kill the negative post with a proven quick fix.

to all of you still hoping for a download fix.my guess is if it hasn't worked yet.it aint gonna.sent mine back and got it back yesterday(8 day turnaround). working fine now.while i wasn't happy to shell out 16.50 to ship it back.for a problem that was no fault of mine.i will say this they shipped my box back lightening fast.practically over night.which im sure aint cheap.and while im not positive how well this box is going to work for the long haul.i think there customer service is excellent.so you guys on the fence about sending it back.remember its still cheaper(for most of us) than buying a new one.good luck

yes it is and for most part think your done with that problem i feel bad for ones that need pay 30 or 40 dollars to have it fixed but they will fix it not many that will have too do that i for one sent my avov1 box box back to them cost me like 11.25 and had np after that so for many send box box and all should be good for the other few all i can say is still do it and talk to them about the shipping charge and see what they say what more can this company do they say send it back and they will fix it hell what other company would do that most would run they didnt so at least give them that much i been happy with all my avov products and customer support is great may take a little time but they help you they cant find a manual fix so get over it they been trying and no go so far i only see a few that still have this problem so if they say send it back guess what me i will stand by this company and there support team i know how hard they want things to be over with and there is one man i thank is Richard hell all the guys at Avov thank-you so say what you want about Avov they are one hell of company

I send my tvonline box to avov because I had the nand problem they fixed but now the box display a message that the box is blocked by the server I already pay for the service with iks66 and I link my box mac but it didn't connect with the server

I would juat like to say that i was one giving Avov a hard time with their package installer issues, as i am in the caribbean i found it to be quite an ordeal to pay to send it back to them, well eventually i did and I MUST SAY I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED in how quickly they fixed and shipped it back to me. They actually shipped it back to me here in the islands via DHL so that must have cost a pretty penny, I received it back in 2 days after shipment. So Avov I apologise for doubting you and I will continue to support your business. Many thanks

islsnyute thank you for kind word i know how hard it is sometime and i always said avov stand by there products are they perfect noway never seen a perfect but there support is number one in my eyes and that what makes a great company
