good question, also does anyone broadcast it. don't think so.
...oh thinking a little Netflix and amazon are starting to have some 4k content, I suppose others will follow.
but 4k blurays would require new players and probably break the standard, or rather they will extend it.
will be interesting to see how they will get around that, so you actually can own the movie on a physical media.
there is a few Netflix rips out.
the addon does not care about the resolution, as long as your box/hardware and player support it.

so i guess it takes 3 things
4k broadcast
4k receiver or encoder
4k tv
and if streaming then bandwidth should support 4k?

yep.. and its quite a bandwidth 17GB or 41.3Mb/sec for that breaking bad episode.
I guess people will sqeeze it more on the cost of quality like some already do with HD, some 1080p rips are less than 2GB and stereo. heh

I found one 4k live tv stream called one...some Russian music channel...that stream sucks down the bandwidth..amazing how great that stream plays too..after digging through tons of m3u's russian tv streams are all in 1080..and you look at this service and you get bummed out because there is barely any hd content at all kinda blows...
