Hi I'm trying to link the service to an iptv app on my smart tv. My problem is I can't change the mac on the tv and it starts with 3C:CD, is it possible to link this mac? Is it only the last 6 digits that is linked or the whole 00:1A etc
Thanks in advance

You need 00:1A:78 then the last 6 of your mac then you put that in the place ( kodi or emulator) that you will be using on the tv

use the 00:1A:78: and the last three parts of your smart TV to register on your donation. You do not need to change the physical mac address in your tv. Just to tie your donation to the device you are using. But understand that app on your TV must be KODI or the NFPS/Rocket Stalker.

Make sure kodi is shut down before proceeding

you can just leave your mac as it is on the rocket page then enter the same mac in the client (emulator/kodi) on your smart tv. it is a bit easier.

It won't work with the native app on your smart tv, the MAC address needs to start with either 00:A1:79 (mag) or 00:A1:78 (kodi )

oh theres native stalker capability on the tv, I didn't know that. thought it was running android as some smart tv's
like lowtech wrote "But understand that app on your TV must be KODI or the NFPS/Rocket Stalker.
which tv is that?
curious about any partnership since infomir(company behind mag) is the ones that developed stalker middleware. (opensource)
edit: also I am pretty sure only two mac device id's(the first 6 digits is the manufactor/kind of device) are allowed.
00:1A:79 - this is stbmac's manufactor id, you can not spoof the mac on these devices so it is reserved for stbmac's.
00:1A:78 - for all other devices that can spoof the mac with the client, this prevents stbmac users from getting their mac address used by kodi/emu.
I don't think you will be allowed using a device that does not start with these 2 manufactor id's,
there's also the simple fact that the first 6 digits coming from the tv won't match?! that alone is beyond logic to me.
people just use the last 6 six of their devices out of convenience, plus its easier to explain to people that is not familiar with mac adresses and hexadecimal.
correct me if i'm wrong. :)
