Best setup for Minix Neo X7

I am the owner of a Minix Neo X7 and i'm try to find the best setup so my wife would b!tch at me anymore.

Minix X7 setup:
Rom: KitKat 4.4.2 Community Editing 2.2.0
Kernel: whatever comes with the Rom.(Any suggestion for better performance?)
Kodi: Isengard 15.1 - complied Aug 22nd 2015
-IPTV Stalker NFPS
-No Advance Xml
Launcher: TV Launcher
Private Internet Access VPN Android app. Which kills my internet speed. Without PIA VPN app I average 80mbps with PIA VPN I average 15mpbs.


I need help with an advance xml to increase streaming video and PVR buffer size.

Seems like I have issues with passthrough but currently its not my concern because I only have a 3.1 setup.

Any other suggestion?
