Do new channels update?

Hi guys, a quick technical question.

I was wondering if channels get automatically updated when new channels are added? For example, either through Stalker/pvr.Stalker, STB Emulator or MAG box, do new channels get updated automatically or is there anything that needs to be done on our part to get them?

Every time you turn any one of those on it will update the channels automatic
