No you need a credit card that except international charge

check your text messages and email from your credit card on international transactions. Some sent a text requireing you to confirm within so many minutes to complete the transaction. To ignore would cause you to not get your codes. My card sends both email to call a 800 number and a text on phone to hit a button to decline or confirm.

I live in the US and yes, my debit card didn't work with one of the options but did work with the other one.
