Do I need Stalker addon to hook up to rocket?

Been reading about this Stalker addon and my understanding is that as of July 15th, it is not free and a person has to pay something for it. I'm a newbie and trying to figure out if this stalker add on is required or can you just use Kodi or another client to get the same results?

You can use pvr stalker, iptv stalker, iptv emulator,Mag or Avov boxes but i would recommend looking here first:

Use iptv stalker 9.0.19 it is in the ivue repo or in kodi section on the forums here.
