The blue volume won't go down, need to use remote for tv

did you check the batteries on your remote?

Yes the batteries are brand new as is the receiver I can change channels and everything else works great. Volume is stuck wide open

Do the right and left arrow buttons do anything?
Up and down should change channels, do they do that?

You can check that your remote is transmitting by looking at the front of it through the camera of your cell phone. Will see the bulb light up when sending signals.

Check them out and even the blue light flashes when using remote. Anything else audio settings are good as well.

did you go to the inner portal, and check the settings for audio? there is an icon in the lower tier right side of the main inner portal menu that is full of instructions, and setting information.
