First off thanks for the forum providers and contributors...I have learned a lot to this point as a newby. I have new mag254 up and running hardwired through hdmi/ethernet cables. Trying to get wifi connection but having problems that leave me scratching my head. I have a mag compatible wifi stick which I configured to home internet/modem. I found instructions on a sticky on how to connect...which I followed. Mag recognizes wifi in settings for wifi. BUT I cannot get it to "switch over" so to speak. When I disconnect cables its a no go. Am I missing a crutial step? Seems odd that mag recognizes the wifi setup...password accepted etc but cant connect. If it makes any difference I am running a 40 inch sony smart set.
Thanks,
Wayne

No dice. Rebooted device and can only view when wired up. Ive exhausted my limited knowledge of such so will resort to hiring someone more electronically inclined than myself. Any other suggestions are welcome before I call.

I tried to update software hardwired but wouldnt update. Stayed at "0%" Do you have to leave it for some time? I left it for 5-10 minutes and nothing.

Thanks guys for the advice. Much appreciated. Got everything working :) Wife is now off my ass...hahaha. Subscription that came with unit isnt what was advertised as there isnt a lot of English content, except for movies, but that is an easy fix.
Regards and thanks once again
