What do you get when you combine Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, and Queen drummer Roger Taylor? A superdupergroup. At least that’s how Dave Grohl described the scene that unfolded at the Milton Keynes National Bowl last night.
“Now look,” Grohl told the audience. “I don’t know if y’all have ever seen a supergroup. This is a ‘superdupergroup.’ I don’t even know what to say because this kind of s— doesn’t happen every day. Let me just tell you that the Foo Fighters, right now, are living out our rock n’ roll fantasy with you tonight.”
Together they performed a cover of Queen’s “Under Pressure” with Taylor playing drums and Jones on keys. Watch fan-shot footage below
