Hello All,
I've got an Optiplex 780 with a core 2 duo cpu and 8 gb of ram, 250 gb sata HDD running windows 7 ultimate. The pc works fine is is pretty fast to load webpages. My connection is through comcast cable at 75mb (I don't see anywhere near that but its pretty fast. I've installed kodi on many pc's and laptops and am pretty familiar with it. I just recently moved the optiplex pc to the living room and connected it to my 60" samsung led tv. The the tv has hdmi inputs but the pc only has display port. I am using a display port to hdmi adapter. Video is very good but with the pc connected to the tv kodi will use the full screen. I can see the menu bar and task bar. I've tried just about all the display settings available on the pc but nothing works. If the resolution is set to 1920x1050 some of the desktop icons are barely visible. They are pushed off the screen. Is this due to the cable adapter I am using?
