Mag254 problem

Hello all. I've plugged in my HDMI,cat-5, all good. Mag shows "loading" on my tv with info it red splash screen. Then it shuts off. When I push the power button (top left on rc, blue), my tv displays "not supported mode". I'm thinking resolution settings on mag254. My tv is an older plasma that is 1080i. Help me please!! Thank you!

Note: I found my problem to be my HDMI cable nos not seated completely. Working now. Going through screens for settlng up. I have a funny feeling ill have a problem or three!

im having trouble with my mag 254 it starts and it says "loading portal" then it sends me to "page loading error" is there something i need to press because my service still seems to be working fine, if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.
