I'm using an Minix android not a pc, my bad never said.
I didn't have PVR Simple enabled, so did that, now when guide reloads, the channel numbers are off, meaning DIY is 44 and not Ch 111 as it is with Stalker client only enabled.
With PVR Simple and Stalker client both enabled, time is still off, as I can adjust that to -6 in Simple client. Just the channel numbers are off. I've noticed this prior as well when testing NFPSE,NFPSF, NFPSED,NFPSFD files.
Currently I've changed to NFPSE in Stalker, and have both Stalker and Simple client enabled.

system,tv and under the general tab select use channel numbers from backend.you must change the settings level in bottom left to advanced or expert for it to appear.

1. sat-junkie - our EPG is not provided by NFPS its by us.. your donation gave nothing to us.. so if it goes down, thats the way it is, the only thing you have paid us is negativity....

I am aware the EPG is currently corrupted. there is an issue I had to escalate to tech support team of the server, I could fix the guide now but this will just keep happening, thats why we switched the guide to a 3 day pull, everyone with guide should be ok until they look into the issue.. if your new here or have not yet downloaded the guide before, just use the server provided guide for now..

if you want to start a thread about building your own guide i'de be more than willing to help.
first I would read up on schedules direct,mc2xml,webgrab as they are the three things your gonna need some or all of depending on which approach your going to take.
to simply give the script aint much of a learning curve,its gone through many overhauls as things changed to keep it organized as possible as more and more channels were added.
once you've done some reading come up with a basic plan on how your gonna start,when you get stuck or are not sure ask.
I knew nothing when I started,used psycons git as a reference and went from there.
its not rocket science,just take the will and commitment as one thing it is for sure is time consuming.

I read a few pages on here but didnt seem to find if anyone posted before, i have 4 stalkers in my current household and only 1 has the Guide working, i read that if multiple attemps by the same IP will be blocked.. Is there anyway to get around this? I have done the rest, 1440 minutes intervals and 1 day pull in all TVs.

Are things working today? Let me relate a little and get some thoughts.

Yesterday morning I set-up the PVR Stalker NFPS add-on. I've been using the 9.0.20 add-on with IVUE, but wanted to give the PVR side of things a whirl.

Anyway, things went well initially. The channels and the guide (**********/nfpsf.xml) loaded. The guide looked black and white. (This will make sense in a minute.) It appeared, though, that the times and programs weren't matching well. I deleted the guide material but it would not reload. Hours later it finally loaded. The guide then appeared to be snazzier. It had colors, but when I loaded it, Kodi would sometimes crash. If the guide loaded, it would sometimes freeze or would not load the channels. I thought maybe the guide was being tweaked and there were some kinks. I deleted the guide database and decided to wait until the next day.

Today, I've tried loading the new guide, but it remains empty. The channels load fine but don't display the guide data either. Since I'm still new to the PVR aspect, I'm not sure what is going.

This happens with me too sometimes on amazon tv and laptop, everytime I open Guide, kodi either freezes/lags/crashes. Not sure why, on my pc i rarely have this issue (my pc has 8GB ram maybe thats why...). But loading the Channels part is good which shows "current program" along with the list. at least better than nothing lol

Any issues about Kodi closing or crashing or anything don't have anything to do with this forum topic. This is just basically a txt file with channel and show info. It doesn't break anything or cause anything. Maybe post in the stalker forum instead and get help there.

Stalker Client can only be the PVR program enabled, and disable all ivue guide programs running under Programs, this is what causes no data in the guide

Got things working. This seemed like a memory issue to me. I did have IVUE Guide disabled, tvlarry. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

In an effort to get things working: I did not have the IPTV Stalker client disabled. Did that. I changed the "download guide for 3 days" in the TV set-up to "download guide for 1 day," and I switched from NFSPF (download guide for all for all channels) to NFSPE (download guide for English channels only), hoping that would lighten the load in case it was a memory issue. Anyway, these changes did the trick.

it works great I haven't touched it for weeks now, while never encountered a empty epg or crash.. using fire tv and nfpsf.
memory could be the cause of the kodi crashes it does take quite some memory to populate the full version of the epg, its not exactly the size of a "normal" sat package. :)

does your system time have a timezone setting?
if so is it set correctly,far as I know the timezone setting in pvr stalker does nothing,delete it(leave it blank) and you should see the same results.
also what box are you using.

Yes, Fire Stick and the Time Zone is set correctly to New York (GMT-4:00) The system time is spot on as well.

I tried an empty time zone in PVR Stalker NFPS, and as you said, it still reads 1 hour off.

If a show actually starts at 9:00 AM, the guide shows it starting at 10:00 AM. This is consistent across channels.

Same issue. I checked TG4. The guide indicated WAC was airing, but Duiche (OS & TS) was actually airing. The guide was 1 hour off.

I watched the transition to the next show. The guide indicated it would be Xtreme. Instead, it was An Aimsir Laithreach. The guide was 1 hour off.

The guide indicated the Big Bang Theory would be playing on E4, but instead Hollyoaks was airing. It's the next show after Big Bang.

In essence, the guide knows the correct time (as evidenced by the upper time line), but it is shifting shows an hour later in the program guide. If a show should air from 1:00 to 2:00, the program guide shows it airing from 2:00 to 3:00.

For the heck of it, I downloaded the guide and used the xml file as a local source. It made no difference.

Looking at the xml, and I haven't programmed in a long time, I noted this type of code throughout the file.

programme start="20151006083000 +0000" stop="20151006090000 +0000"

As I naively interpret it, the program starts at 8:30 on 6 Oct 2015 with no time offset.

Is, in fact, the +0000 a time offset? If I did a search and replace: search "+0000" replace "-1.000", would that correct the local file? I wouldn't want to do it all the time, but thought it might provide a temporary fix.

basically there were bugs in when parsing xmltv programme times. the dst offset was incorrect for non-dst observing timezones and the offset value in the programme times was not being applied correctly.

I gave it another shot just in case (i.e., cleared TV and Guide caches, restarted), but 0.8.4 still has shows running one hour later in the guide than they're supposed to be.

On the other hand, iVue is always spot on with respect to IPTV Stalker, so I don't know what's the fly in the ointment. Ugh...

MtchL.. did u try witht he latest version of pvr.stalker.NFPS.. it has a DST fix built in, and is presetup so you dont have to do wnaything, jsut enter your mac...
a lot of people use this... a real lot... to have one person saying its wrong, its gotta be your setup... dunno what to say. send us your kodi debug log or go use ivue if its so great.

1. exit kodi
2. delete the folder /Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/addons/pvr.stalker.nfps from your sd card (double check that it's deleted)
3. install the add-on and clear cache again as usual

1. Cleared cache in both TV and Guide
2. Exited Kodi
3. Deleted /addons/pvr.stalker.nfps
4. Started Kodi
5. Installed Stalker NFPS 0.8.4
6. Cleared cache
7. Enabled Stalker NFPS & TV
8. Channels and Guide downloaded successfully
9. Programs off by 2 hours in the guide

Thus, using Stalker NFPS 0.8.3, programs were off by 1 hour. Using Stalker NFPS 0.8.4, programs were off by 2 hours.

that's the purpose of the update(the way I understand it),to fix the 1 hour diff.

every timezone I tried on win and android, the right utc time comes out. I can't replicate a -/+ 2 hour offset.

for something unrelated. i have implemented new countermeasures to block clients from grabbing the files to frequently.. if the site seems down to you, its ok, your jsut being blocked temporarily and will be allowed to connect again throughout the day so your guide stays up to date.. since kodi seems to ignore the refresh interval and jsut hammers the site anyways, it should autoupdate itself without issue.. if this method works well to get a handle on bandwidth i may increase the grab to a few days or more, this should also help with the missing data issue as your client will already have a lost of the data cached so missing data shouldnt be a problem.

i think the data is loaded incremental into the database as you need it that why you see "hammering".
the epg data is loaded from database when you start up kodi unless none exists. you can see a difference in how it loads stuff on a blank database or one that has been in use and already have the data up till a earlier time point.
and after that it will only need incremental data from the xml file, i think that is what you see?

i'll check my log, it should give the answer.

not sure what the issue is with PPV channels, for me I have guide for all PPV channels on one device and nothing on the other device. The PPV channel name already shows which movie is playing, so im not sure why users want epg that basically says the same thing as the name already says :S.

if your unsing stalker client(I use 0.8.3), & tv shows in the guide.iptv stalker doesn't show it if I remember correctly.
the problem with that channel and a few others(I think there are 3 in total from what I recall without looking) is when they entered it into the nfps server either by mistake or delibertly(I assume it was by mistake as only a few channel names have it) there is a leading or trailing space in the channel name( & Tv it is a leading one).the only way I found that works to make the channel appear in the epg is by replacing the space with & # x 2 0 (no spaces).stalker client is fine with it and shows it in epg where iptv stalker doesn't seem to like it.i cant make em both happy.i have also tried using & # 1 3 2 and neither will show it in the epg.

Just cleared guide data on the android box that i use my iks66 donation on & all the PPVs are still there. For what it's worth I'm running Kodi 15.2 installed from playstore using PVR Client 0.8.4

Did the same on two other android boxes running the same (one Rocket & one NFPS) with the same result.

Anyone know how to fix this? When I click on a channel in live tv or using the guide, nothing happens. When I go through iptv stalker everything works fine. This just started happening. I think my ip is blocked currently, due to all my kodi resets. If your ip is blocked, it gets unblocked after 6 hours correct? Or is permanent ban?

looks like a lot of channels didn't get any epg data on last nights pull.
I just re ran the grabber and everything appears to be back so reload your epg and you should be good.
I didn't change/fix anything.its weird as i run a exact copy at my home and it updated fine.

the problem with that channel and a few others(I think there are 3 in total from what I recall without looking) is when they entered it into the nfps server either by mistake or delibertly(I assume it was by mistake as only a few channel names have it) there is a leading or trailing space in the channel name( & Tv it is a leading one).the only way I found that works to make the channel appear in the epg is by replacing the space with & # x 2 0 (no spaces).stalker client is fine with it and shows it in epg where iptv stalker doesn't seem to like it.i cant make em both happy.i have also tried using & # 1 3 2 and neither will show it in the epg.

if I open the log in a hex editor it shows that space as a asci 20.

Mine was an hour off yesterday. I use NFPSE - adding the D brought it back on time, so changing to NFPSFD should work for you when your guide next updates.

My first suggestion would be to disable live tv, then down to 'guide' & make sure that 'hide no information labels' is unchecked/disabled/off, then clear guide data, then back into live tv & clear data & finally enable live tv.


Firstly, thanks to you ninjas for providing an excellent resource at no additional cost. I've had no problems getting the guide to load….it even shows my timezone correctly….but lately I suspect some of the programmes stated on the guide do not tally with what's playing….for instance CNN guide will say MainSail but the programme playing is clearly not about sailing etc etc.

My question relates to the time the guide takes to load…like in the first quoted post….when I start Kodi the guide loading status on the screen shows 'Golden Premier 1' and just stays there for a good 40-60 sec…then it all just speed loads in a rush, often crashing Kodi and leaving me to try again.

I tried the solution suggested in the second quoted post and the same thing happened.

In my Stalker settings I chose Prefer XMLTV and the Remote URL entered is: http://**********/NFPSF.xml

Under TV settings in Kodi I have chosen to load the guide for 3 days and set the guide update interval to 1440 min as directed.

Can I prevent the delay in loading the guide at startup by choosing the english guide only: http://**********/NFPSE.xml ?

Most important question….should I change the url setting on the PVR Stalker config page, is it going to lock me out of IPTV and create another of those 'Change MAC address and do it all again" dramas?

That is normal. But, utimately, the guide will load if your system/configuration can handle it.

The other thread youre referring to had a different thrust...that was about kodi quitting after channels loaded. As i said before that doesnt bother me too much.

My system is quite robust imo....it has 2GB DDR RAM, a quadcore S812 Amlogic processor and 16GB of storage.

Can anyone tell me what causes my guide to have missing channels (including all the PPVs) and some that are completely blank (description)... I had this problem a week ago, fixed it and everything was perfect this week (every channel, they ALL had description and coloured guide...) until yesterday that problem came back out of nowhere, I didn't touch ANYTHING, any idea what's causing this or how I can fix it? Doing that indeed fixed those channels and now my Guide is fully coloured BUT... Now the PPVs and other channels disappeared again!!! What is causing that to happen so often on my end? This is so frustrating, it's like the 4th time that my PPVs and other channels disappear from my guide, and this time all I did was clear data from live tv > general and clear data from guide.

Part of the problem maybe is that you didn't configure the serial number properly. See the sticky threads in the PVR section to see if you can get PVR Stalker going, but you should be able to carry over your credentials if you did indeed configure IPTV Stalker properly (not just "send serial number"

Post in that section if you need help with that.

No, use the MAC that you linked with your donation, as the authorization for the guide is based on your donation and mac.

You must of grabbed data too often. Make sure your settings are only grabbing once every 1440 minutes minimum.

Wait some hours (not positive how many to be honest) then you can grab again once block deactivates.

The source data may not be sending the genre information, or the process may not have picked it up. There isn't much you can do as an end-user to get it colored, other than checking your settings, clearing data, and disable/enable live TV.

For those who are still using IPTV PVR Simple Client, if you are finding that you can't use the remote link for epg, you can still download the guide on a daily basis, put it where you can browse for it LOCALLY in the IPTV Simple Client, and clear data in LIVE TV, you should be able to get that downloaded guide.xml to populate your guide. You do have to set the appropriate time offset, relative to GMT to get the guide to match to your location, but it does work.

No follow up questions about this method in this thread, please... your questions will probably fall on deaf ears... just use pvr.stalker. Those who are stuck in the past, well, try to get unstuck.

Here are the new links, you will only be able to connect a few times every few hours then get a message telling you to wait for a few, so try not to cancel download half way through.
. I know this is a lot to type in, but this layer of security was required. the next version of pvr.stalker.nfps has all of this built in so it is much easier to set up, if you prefer, you can wait for that to be released and sut set your EPG preference back to "provider only" for now.

ayo @high247 let me know if clearing your database works for you, I'm too scared to do it, every time I try to fix something it brings up a new problem LMAO. For now my guide is coloured, all channels and all programming info are there, but is off by 1 hour... Last time my guide was on time but had no colours, and 500+ channels were missing, so this is not so bad

hrmm what timezone are you in? wand what OS/ version of kodi are you using.

what channel is off? some of them may be off (maybe 30 of them) as the grabber code needs to be updated but the majority is showing up fine for me.

I'm EST. Using win7pro with kodi 15.2 final with stalker client pvr 0.8.4. All English channels are off one hour last data clear not sure about other languages because I don't use them. Cheers!

I have the same problem that high247 has... all channels are off by 1 hour, using NFPSF3 and "America/Toronto" for my Time Zone, (I'm in Quebec/Canada (EST)).

That crash is most likely due to your devices ram capabilities. I use to have same issue with my old Android box using pvr client until I switched to pc with way too much ram. Was like night and day.

I'm using NFPS3 and it missing quite a few channels? It's been like the for the past day and a half. I've cleared the data and still same thing. I'm thinking maybe I need to just wait till all the migration is done to the new service?

Just got home from work and nfps1 link was still a hour fast so I tried nfps2 link and was the correct times for me now. So if you are eastcoast use the 2nd link now.

And to the guy that said nfps3 was off for them try nfps4. Cheers!

ok i didnt get it going, but after a few minutes i did, its good idea to check your finished EPG URL in a web browser to make sure its all correct and working, if its not youll get an error message, and for ease of use in typing that URL into your KODI box, you can use an URL shortener if your OK with it.

bang run ning great inside of kodi the only way your details are getting out is if you run 3rd party addons that you allow to produce a debug log when installing this is a massive issue and the biggest security breach you can get you want to tighten up security inside advancedsettings.xml place this as the 1st line after advanced settings then nobody can take your infomation from any addon..

just use the link to papaio as said in the OP.. do not link directly to the longer ********** link, it will not work.

New version of pvr.stalker.NFPS is out.. it simplifes setting up the EPG and should deal with timezone issues some have been having

As Psycon suggested, you might want to try the latest PVR Stalker NFPS. It uncomplicates things quite a bit. I haven't seen many complaining about an authentication issue unless there was some kind of error in their URL configuration.

Did it ever work or is this the first time you are trying to configure it? Realize, too, everything has to be entered in the URL, including the "words" EPG, mac, donation and fname.

Finally got it working again but I'm bald now lol, but just before u was about to give up I changed my mac, serial, and device id's and it worked for me on stalker client 0.8.4

Channel [1190] PLAY MAX is mislabeled, it is actually called STAR "something". The guide it is showing on that channel is wrong and belongs to channel [1311] Play Max. Please move the guide data from [1190] to [1311]. Thanks

Note 2: If you have set up the version of Stalker Client that is included with kodi, switching to this version isn't really necessary, you wont gain anything different with it, this is just the easiest way to new users to get up and running

What i actually meant was there are two channels currently with same name:

[1190] PlayMAX
[1311] PlayMax

1190 shows guide and 1311 doesnt, but the guide that 1190 shows is actually for channel 1311. At the same time 1190 should not even be named PlayMax, it should be Star, I know the nfps team has to fix that but for now if the EPG team could change the guide data from channel 1190 to 1311 then at least the correct guide would be linked to the correct channel.
