strange error with nfps add on with kodi

Hi there.

after my satellite receiver lose signal because dish move encode from mp2 to mp4. I have to use kodi with my android box to receive the iptv instead of iks. I tried it before and I think the quality of picture is way batter even on standard receiver compare to on kodi. but anyway.

since iptv is paid service now . So I log on this forum to config my kodi.

first I set up the nfps setting according to the thread in this forum . it worked and I can see channels from there. but it did come with epg .

second I setup the ivue setting and updated the addons.ini to make the ivue work accrding to the forum. thanks for the thread. It works with some channel but not all. for example. nickjr is only in spanish not english. discovery channel is not working which I am chasing naked and afraid XL now. and some other channel not working.

then it was strange , when I saw the nickjr was spanish and I wanted to just go back to run the nfps video addon to double check. I got the "failed authorization" from the add on and can't launch the program anymore. I can still use ivue to see and basically it use ip stalker also. why is this ? any one know.

compare to other android video app. I can see the support on iptv is really in beta stage. not even beta.

any help will be appreciated.

Just wondering... why did you decide to install iVue first? Which thread are you referring to? This would help because most people aren't reading any of the warnings about issues with iVue, even though there are many threads about the same issue you are posting about.

Do you mean ivue - the epg program will have program with iptv stalker. should I get rid of it or both then just install iptv stalker?

iVue and IPTV Stalker will work but things have to be modified to prevent the authentication issues, which you are having. You probably would have found out about that if you had read the entire thread.

Check to see if you installed IPTV Stalker 1.0.18. If you have the 1.2.0, it was updated with a non-official version that had serial number on as a default, with a blackballed mac.

If you do, uninstall the 1.2.0, then find version posted here.

At this point, avoid using iVue... you may want to use the PVR Stalker that is installed as part of Kodi 15.1 instead to get a working epg. You can read out the PVR Staker and PVR Stalker NFPS

If you want to use IPTV Stalker (or the PVR Stalker), first change the mac you had linked on your donation, turn off the auto-update for add-ons to prevent it from being upgraded, and follow the tutorials.

thanks man. I also really read all the thread about ivue. I will ditch it and install pvr stalker client. I checked a youtube video. is it mac will be 79 or 78? I don't even need iptv stalker any more , right? because it is 78 on the third number of mac. I can't see good support thread for pvr client so far. do you have a good one that I can check out the process?

It's a simplified version of the PVR Stalker that is specific for NFPS/ROCKET/66 . All you need is to link a MAC that starts with the 78 prefix.

thanks dara, installed pvr stalker nfps . it is working now.

But please look at the picture. I have this KODI question now. My android tv box come with xmbc preinstalled with no problem with ipstalker- full screen. but I installed kodi because I want the pvr epg feature. and it only support 15 and newer version. the thing is now the tv can't auto zoom to fill the tv screen, I can do manual zoom for each channel but it is pain in the bud to do that . and I can't do one then use the apply to all feature because they have different size : come are 576 and others are 720p

any word on how to set it up?

By the way. I installed simulator too without this issue. just want a backup.
