No sound please help

I just received my vixo2 today and I installed popcorn and youtube and even tried miracast BUT there is no SOUND whatsoever coming out of the TV I have the TV volume 100% and the volume on the vixo2 all the way at the top.

Any ideas if its the box that is defective? or any configuration I might be missing?

I tried with 3 different Tvs all the same result no sound.

I had same issue and even sent back to avov but they said it works for them
I think the TV is the problem (incompatable maybe).
So what I did was buy a HDMI hub and connected thru that and then to TV and now I have sound

But I tried it on 3 different TVs all same result 2 vizio one westinghouse

Hopefully you might have an extra code paid for . try entering the mac addy of the no sound box to a different IKS donation code.I know it sounds stupid but ive fixed 2 no sound mag 254's this way

just tried popcornflix it has sound here
popcorn time can't hardly get anything on it took forever to load so i quite
just tried youth here works fine
I would try another HDMI cable
then try a hard reboot unpug vixo for 10 sec then plug back in
if that doesn't work try a factory reset

I have found that changing the HDMI cable helps, had a couple of insidents where just unplugging the power from the wall and disconnecting the HDMI from the TV and the Box and reconnecting solved the no sound for me. The hdmi connections are very small wire connections that sometimes do not center correctly at first but a reseal helps.
