New member here. Recently purchased yearly subscription. So there is no IOS version for Stalker Client NFPS. Having a bit of difficulty with the Kodi Version of Stalker Client.

ok.. lets have a reminder of the facts, everyone listen up. NFPS service, is and always has been intended for MAG devices... if you CHOOSE to use a kodi/emulator based device instead, and it stops working.. thats on you.

That being said.. all of these plugins, the ********** guide, are all just 3rd party OPTIONS made by fellow community members. and there are a bunch of us that put in a lot of time to keep everything working for all of you, for free, we do this because we like to, not because we like getting bitched cause it doesnt work for you. ... if you dont want to take risks and play around with the latest tweaks and whatnot, get a MAG and enjoy regular service.

I took me a while to have all the various codes set up to get 0.8.4 to work right….so yes i have no complaints….sometimes i get a warning where pvr is unable to load channels….then i have to go thru some complex moves to get it to work…un-enabling the tv setting, clearing guides, caches, restarting... a lot of nonsense.

So when i heard of the new nfps stalker I thought it might have been adjusted to prevent this from happening…a more advanced version.

you dont NEED to no, but it is recommended.. the new version Caches EPG data locally and only refreshes from the server once a day.. this means your EPG will load faster when launching Kodi. It will also ensure you dont get temp banned from the server for too many refreshes (as all previous versions keep trying to hammer the server continuously even though the data hasnt changed, this makes EPG loading slower for everyone in general.)

with the issues you just explained.. I recommend switching, you should have a better experience

I just set up the Stalker Client NFPS and it is running flawlessly but I have a question about the guide. I have the Time Zone set to America/New York and it pulls the data but its missing some channels? Is there a setting I missed in the TV settings that its skipping some of the channels?

nfpsf3 is the same as nfpsf1 and is 72hr and has all program information.

I was just looking for an update on the PPV I see 11/24 under maintenance. On the guide I have no ideal of what all that means. My settings are
Stalker Client NFPS 0.8.4 and in the tv settings default section action days display 1 day. Don't cache in local database--off and in guide view options view now,

I'm using nfps3 on one box and the guide is fantastic! On my windows 64 bit box I installed the stalker nspf from the ninja site. It was great for a day, 2 max (last week) but now half of the channels have no guide info. Do I need to bag this version and go back to kodi version 1.0.1 and use nspf3 in order to get a fully working guide on this box, too? Using beta4. It seems that my 64 bit box is not as stable as 32 bit. Is that typical? Channels take about 4-5 minutes to load and some guide channels are always blank but 32 bit loads super fast.

I'd get a mag but not until I can be sure the service will finally be working with all channels and there are not daily issues posted. But in the meantime, is windows 32 a better fit for iptv? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I'm going to reinstall (fresh) on this 64 bit box. I just got a new notebook that's 64 bit and installed KODI 16 and the pvr loads really fast on it. Granted, it's got twice the amount of RAM, but still... For now, I'm not using the pvr version from ninja but sticking with the one that comes preinstalled in KODI (1.0.1) and the guide is just fine. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and exhale. :)

I have an Avov with Kodi 15.2 and could never get Stalker Client to work, had to use IPTV Simple Client. The latest Stalker Client NFPS works fine but is there a way please to get the program descriptions back on the guide? I did read that it had been taken out but is there a way to edit it back in? If not could you point me to where I can find why I can get Stalker Client NFPS to work but not the previous version?

OK, just to make sure I have this correct, if I am already on Kodi 15.2, I do not need the Stalker IP addon anymore as it will stop working soon ?? So if I understand correctly all I have to do is go into settings to my Addons and enable Stalker client, then in the first portal, simply adding the proper URL, then followed by the last 6 digits of my Mac ID, in the guide I have to change that to XMLTV preferred, and how about time zone, how to I get that to Eastern ?? Anything else I left out, I assume I don't have to use a username and password until it is implemented.

I had setup Stalker Client NFPS on my android box and it was working fine for 2 days but since yesterday, I keep getting a device_id mismatch error. Unfortunately, there is no way to change device id in the configure page like the earlier Stalker Client.

Is there a fix for this or should i move back to the old Stalke Client?

and also, how do i find out what my device id is? I first ran my MAC donation through IPTV Stalker in kodi on my android box.

Hello, any way to have the system automatically suspend the pvr client when not accessing the TV portion of Kodi? Have just switched from to the PVR Stalker add on.

Is there a way to use custom channel logos? I have an existing folder where all the logos are the same shape and size but can't get Kodi to use the logos within the Live TV settings.

it has happened to me while watching a channel it suddenly said authentication failed - re authenticating and then it re authenticated, it is weeks ago I experienced it though, nothing new, and not recently, I also saw that with the other regular client. I think I have seen it 4-5 times while watching a channel since things went paid. I contributed it to some hiccup as it always re authenticated and it always authenticated fine when I started kodi.

You can't have both boxes running at the same time on the same donation/MAC. I don't know how the PVR Staker NFPS generates a serial number, and they might not be identical, so you may have to reset the MAC if you get a "cannot find stream" error.

This fork of the add-on is intended for use with only NFPS, IPTVRocket and IPTV66. It is a simplified version in terms of what needs to be configured in the settings.

This thread will be updated with more info as time passes.

1) set 'Active Portal' to 'NFPS', 'IPTVRocket' or 'IPTV66'
2) set 'MAC Address' to the last 3 hex groups of the mac address assigned to your donation. example: if your mac address is 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX, only enter XX:XX:XX

- you can install this add-on along side the main kodi add-on version. it will appear as "Stalker Client NFPS"
- any value entered for the 'MAC Address' setting is prefixed with 00:1A:78
- there will not be a linux version
- there will not be an ios version
- a serial number is automatically generated internally
- your donation number is only needed for loading epg data
- after setting a new mac address you may get an "Authentication failed." message. wait at least 30 seconds before changing anything

- on android, if you get the following error, I cannot help you. nothing is wrong with the add-on

yep, change your mac, and kodi/stalker will load it correctly again. i have had this issue myself.

So we don't get too off topic on the different stalker client versions, please post in an appropriate thread. There are more settings for the built in version.

If you are getting "can't load channels" try bumping up the connection timeout and check your settings, disable TV, clear data, then enable TV.

its normal, it happens if the connection is lost or times out, I dont know if it might happen if the mac is used by another device. you can try and set the timeout to zero or max or disable connection lost warnings under system/tv but I do not think it will help. some say they have succes changing their mac, hence the above uncertain speculation. basically there could be a wide selection of reasons for it to happen.

I think the only way to get totally rid of them is to ask dvbken nicely to make a client option to disable these warning messages. but I could be wrong.

However when I try to play some channels Kodi shows the working button for around 20 or more seconds to load the channel...The main problem for me is that even if I click ESC can't go back to another scree, so I have to wait till it finally stops because the channel is probably down.

In the NFPS Stalker client addon the timeout is 5. Wasn't it suppose to stop stop after 5 seconds if it can't load the channel?

press 'x' or stop (same thing) instead of esc and it will abort so you do not have to wait for it to time out. :)
timeout in settings is for connecting and authenticating, as far as I know.

Maybe you should get Omar to include the updated pvr.stalker.nfps in his build?

{Edit... he does include the pvr.stalker.nfps in his build... he might be a little behind, as he only has 0.8.4]

In the ********** site, there is a Kodi install with the pvr.stalker.nfps already included. You may want to start with that, then overlay you other build on top of that... the pvr.stalker.nfps won't go away. The only problem is that your box won't update the Kodi install from google playstore, which may or may not be a convenience to you.

which version did you install and can you please give us a link to that version here? I tried downloading from ********** site but it keeps installing the 0.8.4 version and that does not work, although I download the 1.0.3 version.....

I couldn't get the 1.0.3 version to install until I installed the 0.8.4 version. The 0.8.4 version just kept sending KODI back to android. The 1.0,3 would do the same until I loaded KODI 16. Really not a smooth transition since this transition is not working today!

1. PVR Stalker Client NFPS works fine on my Openelec box without epg. The service is much better and cleaner. I guess because there are so many people in blackout.
2. My Mag254 also works great.
3. But my FireTV is a curse, I have done everything without success.

I used to be able to run 2 android boxes (not at the same time) on one donation, but now with the new version and authentication I get a device ID mismatch when moving to the second box. An IPTV Reset fixes it until I change boxes. I assume the new version calculates the ID differently on each box. Is there a way to use stalker nfps 1.03 on 2 boxes without getting this mismatch? You may have to build your own. I think the instructions may be in the Kodi Tutorials, or in the EPG (**********) forums

Use the stalker client comes with the OE6 i thibnk its Stalker Client 0.8.4 and use the instruction below to set it up.Make sure to enter User ID and Password which is your donation no.
There is no pve.stalker NFPS yet for OE

That only works because the value you put in there is irrelevant. Why "1" doesn't work, I don't know, but it doesn't matter what is in there, as long as you have the epg updater service installed, and you have the preference set for "XMLTV Only".

Hello stalker nfps is installed running kodi 16 jarvis added stalker updater all works good but when i click on guide it doesnt load it goes back to main start up so i have to press kodi and only use the channel option to scroll to see whats on this is new never had this problem before

Thanks dvbken. Testing on Windows 10, Kodi 16 RC2, I get the load of the vods, but ones I tried didn't play.

Edit: Also just tested on android generic box, Kodi 16.0 stable. The VOD I tried (Zulu) played. :) There might be an issue with the codecs in the windows Kodi 16.

For all others who are interested, the load indeed takes a while... loading the VOD almost triples the load time.

Unfortunately some of us still have to stick with the Isengard since it is the last fork version of Kodi (Koying's SPMC 15.0.0)
which still fully supports the h/w acceleration for our Android box's GPU (Rockchip rk3288 + Mali T764)

Yeah, they are there on the list. The url generated by the server couldn't be played in VLC either, shortly after I tried in Kodi, so it might be something is not getting back to my computer.

New to IPTV.

I have set up stalker and it works great, setting up PVR I am getting a device_id mismatch. I initially setup a serial and device name and have since changed it. I notice that when I setup PVR stalker it automatically creates a serial and device name. Am I getting the device_id mismatch error because I have my own device name and its creating a different one?

If so how do I create my own device name and setup PVR. Or how can I get rid of my device settings so that the two can sync up.

When you switch between PVR Stalker client and PVR Stalker NFPS, you need to do an IPTV Reset because NFPS uses credentials that it creates and that differ from the those you created for PVR Stalker client. The server sees the same MAC address trying to use two different sets of credentials and balks.

Tech tip: You can get the serial number and device ID being sent from PVR Stalker NFPS, but you'll need to use an URL or network sniffer to do this. Once you get them, you can use those values in PVR Stalker or IPTV Staker.

It's not... look at the other subforums in the Kodi area, and you'll see the "IPTV Stalker" subforum, and the release thread in the stickies, and you'll see the 10.2.2 zip. Use the ********** repo instead though.

I am real stupid with computers and sub forums and stickies, I am an old fart. I have searched and read and tried advanced search and I find nothing. I keep ending up here. - vod now loads asynchronously. so, initial load times should return to what they were in previous versions. on first run and once a week the vod data is refreshed, so give it time to appear during those times
- vod now has basic epg info

remember to check the version notification to be sure that the addon was actually updated

If there was a solution, I'm sure that it would have been included in the first post. It's a device specific error, particularly with modified android OS's that don't want you to make changes to it.

you can try injecting the addon into the kodi apk.. then resigning with one click signer.. it should then work.

This installer solves the dreaded dll error issue for many more android devices. you must uninstall any previous version of the addon and all associated folders before installing with this addon.
I believe an update will be coming this week to reintegrate the xml epg data

I'm getting an error when I try to install NFPS stalker from the **********'s install script... not sure why, I deleted the packages files as well as clearing all cache.

the one i found out and been using for few weeks is this one pvr.stalker.nfps-win32_20160510.zip but i though there is a new version 20160702. I like this version 20160510 more then the Kodi stalker client because is more stable and loads the VOD channels, BUT doesn't have the option XMLTV and the guide doesn't work. I was hoping the 20160702 will have the option XMLTV and be able to make the guide to load also + the VOD channels.

I have a cheapo $99 10 inch tablet that I'm installing SPMC fork on for a work colleague of mine. I've tried the official kodi 16.1 too. My problem is I keep getting this error when installing the zip for stalker client NFPS from either ********** or off my shared drive folder..

"the dependency on xbmc.pvr version 1.9.6 could not be satisfied"

I searched the forums for it and only found one instance but no one said what to do to force the install...

Hello,

Just got two Amlogic S805 devices, these are ARM cpu's. I am trying to install Stalker NFPS; each time I try the installation fails.

I am running Kodi 16.1. I can get Kodi Stalker to work fine, but I was able to install Stalker NFPS on my mac with no issues.

Can anyone help me figure out why the installation is failing, I'm new to kodi.

I just switched to the latest Pulse CCM build and was using built-in Stalker before that, but it doesn't seem to want to connect using built-in Stalker (authentication error).

I tried all the normal troubleshooting (switch MAC, IPTV reset, clear data, etc, etc).

Connects fine with PVR Stalker NFPS.

those are not new releases. They are the last Stalker NFPS PVR clients from dvbken, which were released some time ago
I just re-posted them because people are asking and the old host links went dead for lack of activity.

The different Stalker applications tend to confuse members.
There is also couch potatoes version and Dara has a couple versions. The Plus version I think is working good.

The NFPS versions are from dvbken, the original developer of the Stalker PVR Client


I have most all of these downloaded and saved in my tickle trunk, but do not test them :eek:

I have a box named ROMINETAK and I cant install the pvr_stalker with a error "failed to install from zip file the dependencies on xbmc.pvr version 1.9.6 could not..."
What am I missing? Maybe I should install something else first?
Also the stalker client built in has the run function dimmed so I can't run it.
I used to watch with IPTV stalker plus but now when I run it appear some codding letters and numbers and nothing work.
Is there another addon to be installed so I can be able to watch?
