I have a paid subscription, i'm running Kodi isengard, i can not get my subscription working. had it for a few days when it first started that was it. any help will be fantastic
I'm getting itv authorization failed on all my channels on ivue
i've tried everything HELP

Personally I wouldn't use iptv stalker,use pvr stalker.it come preinstalled with kodi 15.

name NFPS
mac one u registered,should start with 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX
server 11.iptvprivateserver.tv for NFPS,11.iptvrocket.tv for rocket
timezone I erase it myself and leave it blank

I assume u have xmltv setup already.

btw iptv stalker uses different server setting.

but my problem was it worked at first. I used my full MAC address at registration time, i just used NFPS and 11.iptvprivateserver.tv and it all worked fine, do I have to use the 00:1A:78 and is the 00 number or letter?
I will try and find pvr stalker i have looked but may be looking in the wrong places

yes,it has to be 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX and it has to be registed that way also.when it was free any mac worked.not anymore.pvr stalker is under pvr clients,its called stalker client.

The first octet of the mac addy is two zeros, they are hexadecimal numerals. The only letters in hex are A thru F

Try using portal.iptvprivateserver.tv as the url or portal.iptvrocket.tv, worked for me.

Just to be clear, portal.iptvprivateserver.tv or portal.iptvrocket.tv will only work in the Stalker Client not the Stalker PVR.

One thing, make sure that you do not have the Send Serial Number option enabled in the Stalker Client, If you do and you use the Stalker client, all other client such as iVue and Stalker PVR will no longer work until you change the MAC again.

If using stalker with ivue you need to contact ivue owner for special script so it cab work, was on ivue fb page, personally think PVR is easier and better

Blackbear199. No they are not the same. Stalker Client is the video add-on you access under video add-ons. Stalker PVR is the PVR client that is used when you with Kodi TV enabled.

Both PVR and IPTV are 'clients'. Under PVR Clients, pvr.stalker appears as "Stalker Client".

I'd prefer people refer to the video add-on as IPTV Stalker (plugin.video.stalker), and the pvr module as PVR Stalker to minimize confusion.

I have been using pvr stalker it's way easier to configure.. iVue was super buggy for me and froze my kodi alot...when you use the pvr stalker you don't use the portal url's.. the portal url's are used in the iptv stalker addon...its def confusing at first..new users have to dig through those stickies

It is definetely confusing to us newbies, there are so many how to's that differ in instruction and the add-on terms are so close in description that I've been trying for over a week to get setup properly and still can't get the guide or stalker client to work. We have iptv stalker, pvr iptv simple client and stalker client, I'm not even sure if we need to run more than one for it to work or does one add-on conflict with another? An A to z video would be great and maybe fixes to common problems like "authorization failed" and "stalker client can not load channels" and guide coming up blank.

Please don't take this as complaining, I'm mearly making some suggestions to help out newbies get a handle on this fun yet frustrating hobby.

Thanks for the input Stavman. It actually is getting easier to configure the add-ons, and Emulators, and the cause for the authorization failed/cannot load channels is probably because of the different options to connect to the server when they go beyond the tutorials. I won't do a video, but I may take a stab at doing a comparison of the different add-ons. However, I would rather have someone else write one up themselves and make a great contribution and bask in the glory of the membership. :)

The best way to learn is by example, set the example for others and if your 4th string quaterback can run good plays then your entire team will be all the better for it

Yes but the main thing that I find is lacking is a simple way to add a few other channels of your own liking to the lineup.

You can add more channels to the lineup. You can run multiple PVR Clients at the same time if using Kodi. If you use iVue you can do the same thing but it is a bit harder as you need to add the channels to the guide.

Hmmm... we get a customized version of STB Emu and one for PVR Stalker. I think they are already thinking ahead. Only one left is IPTV Stalker, and that's not that hard to do either.

That's something users can't do... the iVue guys have to add that to their gui list which I think resides on a server. I could be wrong, but that's one of the major weaknesses of these TV Guide related add-ons. You might ask that in the official Kodi forum for the TV Guide add-on, if it still is one of their approved ones. You can also find the facebook page for the iVue, or directly ask 'ivueguide' who is a member here.

ya i'm about to give up. I have a box that was made for me, it's running isengard kodi version.and on rasperry, i can only open iptv stalker. and the ivue menu. i have my donation registered .this is very frustrating i'm an old fart and don't follow all the tech stuff very well but can follow direction if it's clear.

As I said it is a bit harder to do with iVue. All the channels in iVue are based on xmltv data. You can't use there channel stuff and have to make your own xmltv list in order to do that.If you can get the xmltv data from your providers you can combine them and load that in to iVue to get both.

Theres 3 options i have found to run a stalker donation.

1. via Kodi stalker addon

2. via Kodi PVR simple client

3. via the IPTV emulator app

1 & 2 i got working . But find the PVR doesnt load half the time. And the built in TV guide very buggy. So for me the best way of using the Stalker is via the addon.

The 3rd option IPTV emulator app i couldn't get to work ever.

There should deffo be some kinda idiots set up vids in sticky made to help noobs. Every other addon on the planet seems to have them.

Well it depends on what you are using.

1. Stalker EUM which I consider a is a independent app and it is for Linux and Android operating systems.
2. Stalker Client that runs within Kodi. It is a plugin app but has no EPG. You could use iVue for guide listings but a lot of people have issues with it, or you could link IPTV Simple client to the Stalker Client's M3U Server.
3. Use the PVR Stalker Client which you enable under the Kodi Settings -> TV option. This option you do not need to install the Stalker Client and gives you EPG as well.

One thing to note is that you need to insure is that if you do have Stalker Client installed that you do not enable the Send Serial number or other clients will not work and you will have to change your MAC to make things work again.

So I have a epg grabber that makes an XMLTV file, now if I want to combine with the default IVUE xmtlv file wonder where it is or do I need to find how to create an xmltv file that includes all the stalker channels already?

I am looking to make my own Guide EPG database on SQL and use an app that I will write to output the 14 day xmltv file for IVue or Renegades.

I did that so it would explain nothing else works even the emulator? How do I change the Mac? in my donation and where it's asked in the addons or the Mac of the box itself? Thank you
